service was excellent but the food was cold and over cook , never going there anymore, we paid a lot for nothing.

went on a week day the service was excellent the food as good even better the place is nice.if your wondering don’t just go .
The food and service was excellent, especially the lobster and seafood bisque. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare and trio entrees. It was a little pricy but we thought it was worth it. It is also a bring your own wine.
We reserved on a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. It was a little noisy since it was a busy saturday night but it was well worth it for the food and service. It's a byow so very affordable. Highly recommend this...place.More
Every time we eat here either with friends or as a couple we are always well received by the friendly staff. The meals are always excellent and we are assured a good time. One of our top choices in the eastern townships! A special thanks...to Michel and Suzanne as well as the cook Patrick. Keep up the great service that make this restaurant a favourite for us.More
Thank you so much! Always a pleasure to have you! 😊
Very nice place, the service is ok but not impressive. The meal was ok but the gastronomic touch is notvthere. I had a filet mignon, very good steak, the problem was the peppercorn sauce, it was so strong that you didn’t taste the quality of...the steak. Same thing with the which was burried under such a sweet sauce that you would taste only the sauce. We were expecting better quality. We probably went the wrong evening since it used to be a very good restaurant.More
Im sorry to hear you did not have a nice evening. We take notes of your comments. We respect your experience but It would be appreciated to put a bad comment only in the restaurant that you visited..
Food was good but wasn’t very hot. Service friendly. No cocktails or wine. Bring your own wine only. Details were lacking: bread rolls stone cold, cutlery not replaced. Cheesecake disappointing. Lobster bisque rich but too salty. Service suspiciously fast. They obviously want to turn tables...quickly. Not what you’d expect at these prices.More
Food was decent. The entree were absolutely amazing but our main meals had a few problems. We were 4, 2 of us ordered mussels, 1 ordered salmon and the other the porc tenderloin. 1 of the 2 mussel orders were not de-bearded and when we...mentioned it to the waitress she said we just weren’t lucky.... however my spouse didn’t have any beards on any of the mussels he was eating but all of mine did which completely ruined the meal. And the porc tenderloin was under cooked. We also ordered a crème brûlée which wasn’t very good, the creamy Center was liquid. It is a very enjoyable restaurant but I wouldn’t go again since there seems to be restaurant management issues, the menu is fantastic but not all the meals will turn out right.More
Basic and clean We stayed at the Auberge for a 3 day weekend (hiking & biking in the Mt Orford park). The room was very clean (considering the Covid-19 situation). The staff greeted us kindly, explained all that we wanted to know and even accommodated...us as we arrived earlier than normal for check-in. We didn’t get around to eat at the restaurant, due to arriving later in the evening. If your looking for 5 stars massage & spa this isn’t the place your looking for, but if you need a nice, clean place to sleep and quick acces to the parks trails, this is your spot!More
We heard great things about this restaurant including the fact that you could bring your own wine with no corking fee. The menu was beautiful and the meats extremely flavourful however we were all surprised when each meat came with the same side potatoes and...vegetables (however these were tasty). Being foodies we know the power of well matched side dishes, so this felt disappointing. The ambiance was lovely, the seating comfortable however our waiter presented himself well after we sat, was disheveled/unkept and appeared less than interested in waiting on us. A $400.00 meal later and a generous tip was met with seemingly less than gratefulness by the waiter who in fact ignored our good-byes and thank-yous. Once back in the parking lot we were surprised that the 5 inches of snow that were present upon our arrival, leaving us with wet feet throughout dinner had still not been cleared from the sidewalk or parking lot. Overall the food was wonderful but the experience was not.More
Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere. We ordered the plate for 2 in the table d’hôte (filet mignon, duck, scallops, local vegetables) Boy what that good !
The plates are very tasty and with good portions. But since they moved, there is no more intimacy on a face to face dinner. Especially if you are surrounded by groups. I miss the ambiance of the old place.
Exciting menu, delightful and professional service (thank you Suzanne), romantic setting. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and they were all excellent, beautifully presented. You do need to bring your own wine or beer, but we were advised well ahead of time; set up available.
the room is lovely, the service is warm and friendly AND efficient and the food is interesting and well made. it is not, to my mind, a GREAT restaurant, but it is a very good one and one that deserves a visit, and a return...visit. it is BYOB, so if you like wine with your meal, choose a good one!More
We only stay in this Inn for one night but we spent 2 hours driving in circle to find it .. It surprised me as it is a small town and should not be this difficult but it did . The sign is small and...not lighted , the Inn is next to the road and you pass it without knowing as its tiny . The room is clean and the bed is firm , everything works . There are not too many rooms in this place but it has a good restaurant that serves fine dining . People are nice but spares and I have to look for them when I leave to turn in the key. . There are other hotels near by or withing 30 min drive , I suggest you go to others unless you want to drive in circle to find it . Also there is no breakfast served and not a nearby eatery also , you better have some food in you car if you come with children .More
