Went here with the family to celebrate a birthday. My brother and his wife were super impressed with the freshness and preparation of the sashimi and sushi! Our family grew up in Japan and appreciated the quiet and familiar environment with the kotatsu and low ambient lighting. The kids enjoyed their yakitori, gyoza, tempura, chicken kara-age, and udon. The toro... More

My dad and I enjoyed the unagi, toro, and uni sushi which tasted fresh and clean. The tempura and chicken teriyaki were perfectly cooked and presented. We especially enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Sushi was very delicious, a little more pricey than other sushi places I have been to, but I don't mind as long as food is good. I do prefer rolls which I thought this restaurant lacked in, but the few we had were excellent, very fresh and presentation was beautiful. Atmosphere was very clean and quiet. Food took a long... I have been to this family owned restaurant many times. The sushi was excellent. It can be a bit slow when busy. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Food are average, we had 2 set lunch with rice and noodle. A bit salty, and seems that there is MSG in the food. Service is good, staff are polite, yet the shop is too dark , maybe they wanna deco it with ancient Japanese style, the paper lamps on the ceiling block most of the light. The atmosphere is... More

We asked for a japanese-style separate booth, and selected sushi, sashimi and tempura. Everything was absolutely fresh, and the presentation first class - as in Tokyo where we have lived. Whilst not cheap, the quality and style were exceptional, and this was one of our best meals on Victoria Island !!

Good food. Slow service. Fun booths. Miss Tony. It is good but a little on the expensive side. Nice quiet location and nice for couples. The menu hasn't changed much over the years from when it was the only sushi place in town.

The food it is excellent and the atmosphere is great -- Japanese with some concessions to the West Coast B.C. location. The serviceare friendly, although not very speedy. But the downside are the prices -- way too high for what is offered. There are other Japanese restaurants in Campbell River that may lack the atmosphere of Koto, but they offer... More
