In pubs or restaurants, the most important part is consistency with your food AND drinks. Lions Head has some great food and drinks but one month to the next, the beer will taste different or the same salad you've always gotten will be smaller or...More

Hi Krista. Thanks for the review. Consistency is the most difficult thing. We try. Its always a challenge. As far as the beer goes. We clean our lines after EVERY keg. So we cannot clean them more. I have no control over the manufacturing process...More

This is an old fashion "English" style pub so do not expect bright modern styling. Ate here on a Sunday night and was only 1/3 full. Had Fish and Chips and Pulled Pork Sandwich. The Fish was average and a bit on the oily side....More

This place is the quintessential Kootenay gem. Not only a fantastic gathering space for friends but they offer truly fantastic food. High quality ingredients, huge portions and the best cuts of meat! We would come back in a heartbeat to eat all this amazing food:)

I was in the area on business and took a colleague for dinner. Originally from the UK this is a fair attempt to recreate a British pub. The beers are good and the dark beer I ordered was tasty. The food was good but not...More

Once again the Lions Head Pub delivers. From their food, craft beers, and service. Last night there was an added treat. Nearly Neil provided an amazing performance by showcasing Neil Diamond plus adding songs from Glen Campbell, Ozzie Osborn, and Johnny Cash. We had an...More

We chose this restaurant because of it's high ratting on Trip Advisor. Found it to have poor service and mediocre food. We sat on the patio where patrons openly smoked pot. The waitress kept forgetting about us and seemed disinterested in providing us fast service,...More

Had a very relaxing dinner here at an outside table. Great casual venue, with a varied enough menu to keep carnivores/omnivores very happy. I had the sockeye sandwich and my husband the poutine, which was decadently delicious. House Pinot Gris drinkable. Service prompt and friendly....More

There's three key factors for a great pub for me. First off you need a diverse beer selection. Lions Head pours some of the best craft beer from around the province. Staples are always on tap along with a rotation of other interesting flavours to...More
