Travelling all through Canada this is hands down my favourite place to have breakfast. Homemade bread retro music genuine and friendly service with a smile you can sense and taste the pride of this unforgettable restaurant. If you're in Cranbrook or the area do yourself a favour and experience this amazing place.

Had lunch here. Service was excellent. Friendly and helpful. Food arrived in good time. All parts of the meal were good except the salad. Very basic and not too creative. Would come back again.

We took our children for brunch on their visit home from university. All the food including the bread is homemade. The prices are not cheap but it's value for money. Large portions mean that you won't be leaving hungry and you won't be having brunch or lunch anywhere else anytime soon.

We dropped in for lunch and were fortunate there was a table just emptying for us! The soup is home made as is the bread or buns that accompany it - I recommend the borscht! Friendly and fast service, and well priced, this is a wonderful spot for a hearty lunch.

Cranbrook's best little soup and sandwich spot. Lunch menu is very popular and non complicated fare. Soups always taste homemade and the sanwich variety is a nice compliment. Great place for people working downtown or nearby and wanting to have a great get-in-and-get-out meal. The staff is very friendly and meals done quickly. Not a lot of seating so get... More

Love to eat here!! Amazing homemade food! Absolutely loved all the soups I have tried especially their borscht. Only thing is I Love my coffee and their coffee is a little on the weak side for me. Can't wait for my next visit!

I don't know what was better, the atmosphere or the food. Lots of cool memorabilia (especially if you're a John Wayne Fan). And if you"re a breakfast fan, you'll be even more impressed. They passed the poached egg test (soft but not runny), and the blueberry pancakes were fantastic.

Love this restaurant. It has stood the test of time, as I have been coming here for over 20 years. Bread is to die for! As are the soups.

We went here for lunch and weren't sure what to order. Everyone around us was getting soup with bread so that's what we chose too. It was a great choice. The soup was hearty and filling and the fresh bread was amazing. The only drawback was that it was kind of expensive. There weren't a lot of choices in the... More
