In my opinion, this is a coffee house that decided to serve dinner (and I guess lunch too). The pad Thai was not traditional Pad Thai, quite saucy (read, WET) and not very strong in spice, despite asking for it hot. I asked for sauce like srracha or something along those lines and the server said they didn't have anything... More

Variety of warm drinks and desserts. Busy and noisy and no privacy. Great menu and lots of choices for everyone.

Dinner time order of Pad Thai was edible but something of an uninspired and sloppy mess that also took some time arriving. This uber trendy spot is likely dynamite for lunch and especially coffees, and I suspect we might have been there when the B Team was on -- it being mid-week.

You will not be disappointed by dining here, a great variety of food. Breakfast, try the baked oatmeal plate, awesome! Lunch sandwiches are excellent and dinner will make your mouth water and return again to try a different dish.

We have had lunch many times and love the food but the noise is unbearable so we have started doing takeout. Not only are the various food choices great but their health cornflake squares are to die for.

Passing through Cranbrook last Saturday, we had seen an advertisement for this cafe but It wasn't easy to find. It's a popular big, noisy restaurant with an interesting menu - several Asian fusion dishes, that appealed to us. However, the service was slow & the food could best be described as average/good, rather than very good. If you are passing... More

Can't get better than excellent coffees and a good little restaurant! Access and parking a bit tricky off Victoria Ave.

Yes, it's noisy but Hot Shots is also a locally owned small business with its own flare. There's a healthy mix of salads, Southeast Asian entrees, baked goods, and fancy coffees. I go for brunch or lunch, expecting to pay between $10 and $20.

The french toast with mixed fruit hit the spot. My Jalapeno breakfast bagel was original and filled me up. The place has a god atmosphere, and even though it was busy, we still had good service.
