Visited this place with a friend (who lives locally) after the lunch rush (is that even a "thing" in Port Alberni?) so we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. Clam Bucket is a popular restaurant with locals and if people that live there like it - it has to be a safe bet. It was. The prices are on... More

Great food and a fun atmosphere. We eat here whenever we are in Port Alberni and the food is great with really good sized portions

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and received a bowl of what amounted to Kraft dinner. It was made with cheddar cheese. I commented to the server and was told "it's only $10". I guess we can't expect quality unless it is over $20.

The server was very pleasant and helpful. The place set up and decor is very interesting and still quite comfortable. The place has a "homey" feel to... More

Great decor, lotsa excellent food. LOVED their potato croquettes! A good place to bring kids too. Note:Parking lot across the street is a little dark...not sure it's the best area of town? Be sure to lock up.

We often dine at the Clam Bucket and most recently had dinner with friends on January 14, 2017. The food is consistently good - we have never had a bad meal. The Prawn Dinner is very good and have also enjoyed the Prawn Feta Salad on several occasions. Nice atmosphere and the chocolate peanut butter dessert is out of this... More
