December 2015, new owners took over the Great Escape Restaurant. They obviously did not anticipate it to be so busy between Christmas and New Years. The food was delicious and you received a good portion for the price.

I recommend The Great Escape if you like waiting half hour to be served while five tables came in after you are served, eaten and paid while you still haven't order. The worst service I have experienced.

We went there for breakfast. The restaurant has a dining room which is open for dinner and a diner type cafe for breakfast and lunch. The food service is pretty basic in the cafe. Food okay but nothing special.
Very much a mom and pop restaurant with home style cooking. Very clean and tidy. Good service from our waitress, and a exceptional well cooked Breakfast done as we requested. We will come and try their liver and onions for supper on our next visit.
