We dropped in for the first time recentlyThe food was good. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was delicious. Also larger than I expected it to be. The soup we ordered with our meals was excellent too. It's a nice quiet place and there's a neat little gift shop. We found something in the gift shop to purchase too.... More

Simple, nicely decorated and ideal for lunch or just a coffee. This cafe had plenty of choices as well as a selection of home made cakes. Great coffee....this always tells you what the food will be like. Again fabulous atmosphere and thoroughly recommended.

Food was divine, the paintings on the wall were beautiful, the stone shop was lovely and had a exquisite variety of stones. The service was excellent and we had an absolutely fabulous time! Highly recommended.

Our group of 12 made a last-minute reservation at this quaint little restaurant. They were extreamly helpful and even sent us a photo of their menu so that we could order ahead of time. Everyone was impressed with their delicious soups and sandwiches, and I myself really enjoyed the Rueben. I'll be back next time I'm in Valemount.

We went on TripAdvisor (our go to when travelling) and choose The Gathering Tress based on comments. I had the salmon dill panini and my hubby had the coconut curry panini - with homemade soup. So delicious!! The portions are generous. Funky little treasure in the heart of Valemount.

I visited here with two Co workers The service was fine It is a counter order operation then meal delivered to the table. I had a soup and panini. The soup was flavorful obviously home made and filling. The panini was not quite what I expected. While it had fresh veg. and roast chucken it was made with a tortilla... More

Description
The Gathering Tree Eatery & Gift Shop was created around a small, yet powerful belief. That it is possible to create a great little shop in a very small town & to thrive. To create a special place that could give something back to all who come through it's doors. Whether it's the soothing atmosphere, a great cup of coffee - perhaps a tea, homemade lunch accompanied by relaxing music & conversations with friendly people, or the purchase of a gift you will cherish forever. We wanted to create a high integrity, affordable alternative to a world that spins sometimes a little too fast. It has been in the giving that we have received. The Gathering Tree -truly is a place where friends gather!
