Wanted something to eat before driving home after work, got inside about 445.literally in minutes the restaurant was full with a line up to the door.Mostly family groups of 6 or 8 so the servers were really earning their money.Had the fish with a baked potato and veg,no complaints here.Always been my place to stop for good food.

Our first time eating at this Big Stop and it was decent but not as good as I have tasted in New Minas. Servers were friendly, food wasn't incredibly fast but it was okay. The place was a bit on the messy side however they could have had a busy lunch and didn't get time to tidy before supper which... More

Stopped in the Truro Big Stop for lunch and had a nice meal. We had the pancakes/sausages and open face hot turkey sandwich. Both were hot, good portion size, and tasted great. Our server was friendly and efficient.

I received some Big Stop coupons via the mail so decided to check out the offered specials. I had the Clubhouse Plate & a friend had the Big Breakfast. Imagine our faces when the server brought the Big Breakfast on a large platter plus another plate with pancakes. The platter contained scrambled eggs, 6 slices of toast, hash browns, sausages,... I went here on a Sunday morning, and there were a few people in the restaurant. We waited about five mins to be seated, despite there being a vast majority of tables empty. The servers were all busy continually, and seemed very friendly. The menus and drinks were quick to come after we were seated, and orders were taken promptly.... More

We have been to the Irving Truck Stop here in Truro Heights a number of times. For the most part we have been satisfied with our orders. Our biggest complaint if we were asked would be that the girls don't come back to give us hot coffee and ours is gone before our meal is, but in their defense we... More

The waitresses are very friendly and the portions of food are good. We eat here often! I had the Lobster Roll plater and it is delicious. I also love the potato skins. We eat here often because not only is the food good but the waitress make you feel welcome.
