If you crave large portions of schnitzel this is your place. If it is your birthday, loud music will play throughout the restaurant so that the whole restaurant will know that it is your Birthday. The waitress was very good and friendly. All of our friends had been here before and they enjoyed their beer and schnitzel. The homemade soup... More

Went to the Alphorn last Wednesday, looking forward to schnitzel dinner but disappointed. The Schnitzel was overcooked, waiter forgot the gravy sauce, the server appeared to be distracted, had to repeat requests a number of times, lemons, water, etc.. Plus they severed FROZEN, not fresh veggies with the meal. The highlights > ceaser salad, French onion soup... Probably last time... More

I like the fact that they don't respond to reviews on TripAdvisor. They just do what they do and if you don't like it you don't have to go. Looks like a dump on the outside. Reminds you of a Swiss gasthaus on the inside. Plenty of Alpine memorabilia to go along with your schnitzel. Beats the iron skillet hands... More

My favourite restaurant in Collingwood area for great après fun. Tons of craft beers, best schnitzel ever and very accommodating for family fun. Well done!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is aged swiss. The soup and schnitzel were both quite good. The prices are very reasonable. Appears to be very popular with the locals as well as the ski crowd. A reservation is recommended.

I love going here with friends that are visiting Collingwood or after skiing. It's the best place to go. It's loud, fun, and the food is delicious. You have to get the schnitzel. The beer menu is also awesome.

This is a busy place so be prepared to sample some of the great local beers while you wait for a table. Trust me it is worth it. The schnitzel is superb and the bonus is you get to take the rest home for a snack tomorrow Service is prompt and friendly, and the decor is like no other Enjoy!!
