We arrived ln town hungry and ended up at the Boathouse. Other than the location , it has nothing special to offer. The menu features typical bar food. The main bar area was quite noisy and that was before the live entertainment started. We sat in the back room so we could hear each other talk. That room was freezing.... More

I ate at the Boathouse Eatery twice during my recent stay in Midland. The first night I went the weather was lovely and I ate on the patio. The service was very slow; I waited a long time to even give a drink order and hadn't been given a wine menu. The food, however, was delicious as was the presentation,... More

Nice atmosphere. Neat restaurant. The special was Crab alfredo and it was delicious. I had the Alaskan Haddock fish and chips and it was delicious as well. We will return.

Thanksgiving weekend (Canada) we were out for a nice hike in the sunshine. Stopped at the boathouse which offers indoor & patio dining. Quesadillas, poutine, salad with goat cheese, coconut shrimp. Deep fried pickles. All good. Good wait staff. Medium prices. A good spot.

Don't waste your time or money. Boyfriend ordered the rib and wings platter. The ribs were undercooked. I ordered the bacon burger platter. Beef was overcooked and bacon under. Paid over $100 for this plus some drinks and apps. Not worth it.... Atmosphere is definitely not worth the price you pay. Run down....

Time to find another restaurant to try during our annual trip to Martyr's Shrine. Previously we'd go to the usual (McDonalds, Boston Pizza, etc) but last year I used TripAdvisor to try something different .... and we loved it. So this time I chose The Boathouse. After church, it only took us 5 minutes to get there, very easy and... More

The Boatery has the best position in Midland by the marina and facing north onto the southern end of Georgian Bay. The outside deck is a great place to dine al fresco in good weather. Service is quick and friendly (ideas on places to visit), although the food is average in quality. Prices are, however, OK for such an excellent... More

Very rustic, looks like a lot of locals in off-season. Great Patio in good weather. Service friendly and decent. Not great, our server had a poor memory. Food, tasty and plentiful, very large portions. NOTE: Suggest maybe sharing an order of chicken wraps if not famished. Prices seemed on the higher end for the fare served, however the portions are...
