This a fantastic spot for Sunday lunch. Good Food & Staff. The menu had a good selection & was a fair price . The coffee in the lounge was a nice touch .

Had a lovely three course dinner here whilst staying in a near by cottage. I am Gluten Free and they went out of their way to accommodate me, making me a dish not on the menu as another option. Also, the gluten free bread was so nice they let me take some home with me for breakfast! Superb food and... More

We called for Sunday lunch here with friends. The menu is not extensive but adequate. We were all happy with the food but sadly the service was not good which is why I marked it down.

Had an excellent weekend here with other family members. A very relaxing country house hotel set in pleasant surroundings. Rooms are comfortabale and staff attentive. Food is excellent. This is my second visit here and I hope to visit again in future.

Arrived with party at 12:30 for a 1 pm meal. Sat in delightful entrance room for coffee. Several tables in restaurant in use which was good for a Thursday. I did not have a starter but some of the party did. Soup looked rich and hot, and the rocket, blue cheese and nuts looked fresh and appetising. I had Lancashire... More

Called in for lunch with husband. Lovely Stuart house. Ordered drinks and perused menu in one of the cosy sitting rooms. Dining room overlooks the garden, with resident chickens. Both had apple, blue cheese salad. Husband had loin of pork with apricot stuffing, I had sea bass on pea purée. My only gripe was that herb butter had not been... More

had an evening meal as part of a weekend hotel stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole dining experience was well done, from the aperitif in the lounge beforehand whilst choosing from the menu to the food itself. The menu has plenty to get stuck into without being over the top. The portions were just about right if leaning a... More

After a long, cold day walking, any food is pretty good - as long as it is hot. The food here was hot. Were the sad looking veg in the very hot bowl microwaved? "I dunno". Was the lamb seasoned? (did not taste like it). And the sticky toffee pudding was a bit dry (!). Friendly folk, but not great... More

I visited Biggin Hall with family for lunch. I've been here before and it's been great, but sadly not this time. Really should have clocked that something wasn't right when I arrived with my fiance, we stood in the reception area and were ignored, so we just wandered in to the restaurant. The menu choices weren't amazing, to the extent... More

We visited this restaurant after friends recommended it, but unfortunately we were not impressed. The setting is blissful. Biggin is a gorgeous village in stunning countriside. The house is an 18 Century manor house, but is of modest proportions and is more like a large farm house than a hall. We took a pre-dinner drink in the library as there... More
