Lovely Historical Pub - used to be a old police station. Had a lovely meal here before a concert at vector. The service was quick. Friendly staff. Reasonable priced good value for money

Nice spot to drop in. Busy in the evening but that is to be expected. Cool interior. IPA was good, but pricey. $14.50 NZ Found the beer selection to be good.

We arrived and ordered at the bar. Very small, but typical pub food. We seated ourselves, had got drinks when we ordered, and found a good spot to watch the rugby. Atmosphere nice, we were there pretty early on (8pm) so live music hadn't kicked off or anything, so nice pub-by atmosphere. Food took a while to come, had to... More

Stopped here twice during our trip to NZ. They have a very good beer selection and decent food. The guys behind the bar were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed both visits.

Waiting to check into our Airbnb, we more or less fell into Brew On Quay. Literally the first customers in the restaurant, there were some humor-filled problems with the menu for the day, but we appreciated the waitstaff's attempts to keep us abreast of the ongoing changes with the specials! I ordered the delicious ceviche, but my friends ordered the... More

This is a great bar situated directly opposite the harbour. There is a good range of beers and ciders on tap and there is a good atmosphere and free wifi.

Having been advised to go here by a mad italian at a bar in town we decided to stroll up the quay. So glad we did. The guys and girls who work there are mostly brits and very friendly and enthusiastic! Truly a beer lovers paradise with some really unusual draught beers as well as a huge choice of bottles.... Found this pub restaurant through a discount voucher in the visitors guide. Finding the restaurant was another matter as the Quay is rather long and it rained. It is at the side where the cruise ships dock and not a busy harbour/marina side. We had a nice chicke salad with cider. Very friendly service and nice to chat with other... More
