This restaurant was there when I was much younger and it is still good.It is a cozy place in an old typical Piedmontese village on top of the hill. if you go there you will enjoy the local cuisine. The restaurant is in a hotel which will help in the evening after dinner ,the Piedmontese wines are really great-enjoy them.

A fresh look at Italian cuisine at an unusual place. We were invited by friends from Milan, otherwise it is close to impossible to find out about this restaurant. The village of Cocconata is far from typical tourist destinations. The restaurant mainly serves locals. Great appetizers, and we had tasting menu, which was super delicious. I look for5to dining there... More

The service is welcoming and professional, the food is amazing (ask the waiter to prepare never ending appetizers and listen to the suggestions). We ate here twice and both times it was excellent. Great place, friendly staff who speak many languages, excellent food, very excellent wine and great service. We had center row table for the donkey races and parade since our Innkeeper Benedetta called ahead for us. Roberto was our waiter and he spoke English very well. He made a great effort... More

This restaurant has been around since I was a child. Still run by Franka, Paolo and their family. The food is homemade and fresh. I definitely recommend it.

An excellent restaurant to enjoy a long leisurely lunch with friends sharing the local wine and cuisine of Piemonte. Staff were attentive, preparing gluten free options where possible..

Several people recommend us this restaurant which we tried on a Sunday evening when many others are closed. We were disappointed. The complimentary salami with a glass of prosecco as an aperitif was a nice touch, and we started with a good risotto with asparagus in season, but the cotoletta milanesa was rather tough and the accompanying allumette chips soggy... I've been a regular visitor to Cannon d'Oro over the years, but they have just renovated the place, and it's a disaster...they have succeeded in completely destroying the character of what was a beautiful old traditional trattoria... It now looks and feels like a funeral parlour... And the prices have shot up.
