A small village that seems to be all coast front restaurants, but it is the coastal views here that make it worth the stop. Parking in the village is difficult unless you are stopping at a restaurant so park in the large carpark on the edge of the village. You can walk round the side of the café there and... More

Don't miss a visit to this wonderful windswept village right on the coast. Plentiful number of little restaurants on the beach for either a quick drink or a meal. You can follow a coastal walk around the edge of Timanfaya national park. To access it walk through the village to the other end where you pass a children's playground on... More

The extraordinary phenomenon of crashing waves against the lava rocks from the volcano eruption many years ago. Take a camera and you will have some marvellous shots.

Short walk up the cliff, but then you get a stunning view of the lagoon on the black beach. There is a small souvenir shop and market stalls at the parking area, and refreshments.

Magnificent views, just a short drive off the Playa Blanca road. Park for free then a 5 minute walk to see the incredible green crater pool and scrumptious blue sea with lapping white waves. Incredible.

We had a great two weeks! The hosts were wonderful: They called us beforehand and waited for us on the street so that we found the house easily, throughout our stay, they were always helpful and just really lovely people! The place was perfect, too: very nice rooms, comfortable bedroom, well equipped kitchen and bathroom - all amenities very well... More

Not a lot in El Golfo, except from some stunning views of the Atlantic ocean and some lovely restaurants. Highly recommended a visit to this hidden gem of Lanzarote.
