The atmosphere for Sunday lunch is great with many large Spanish families having a leisurely lunch. We arrive at 2pm as it gets very busy by 3pm. The waiters know us and we always get a lovely welcome. We started with a shared plate of Cherne in small pieces and lightly battered - it is a very meaty fish and... More

We were looking for a nice spot to have paella, and it was not just extraordinary view but the food was also excellent.

The food is fine, the service what you might expect, but what makes this place special is the view of the west coast of Lanzarote where you can watch the waves crash into the rocks.

Perfect location in El Golfo - fresh fish, excellent Seafood Paella and has the No 1 spot for wave watching!

Just called for a coffee after an unpleasant lunch at Largo Verde nearby. Coffee was good, service relaxed, nicely sheltered from the breeze but lovely views over the sea. Altogether a nice place to be and we'd return if in El Golfo again.

Would have given four points for the fresh seafood and fish but the restaurant had real problems with the service. We were treated politely, but the staff seemed to have its mind somewhere else. Our starters arrived after half an hour waiting, which would have been okay, if the main courses had not been carried to the table at the... More

What a little peach of a restaurant, almost on the pebble beach on an inlet of rocky coastline where the waves crash and remind you Mother Nature is no damsel in distress... And as you eat your freshly caught lunch of Moules or griddled squid, or butterflied chicken breast, the ever changing scenery is utterly hypnotic. Great, fast and efficient... More

This place is always worth a visit. The fish and seafood is excellent. You eat and can view the waves. Lovely coffee too.

We visit this fantastic fresh fish restaurant every time we come to Lanzarote and are never disappointed, great food, fantastic beach front location and if you go in the evening a fantastic sunset to boot. Highly recommended.
