Our guide suggested we order and pay for our lunch before our long walk up the hill! We returned cold, wet and hungry! Hot soup, hot food, a good cup of tea and yummy hot chocolate were waiting for us. Our party of 6 was immediately welcomed to enjoy our lunch in the warm cozy cafe. I don't remember what... More

Loved this center. Quaint,Friendly and Great Food. Loved the activities available for young family--would have loved to have stayed in cottages.

We camped here for a few nights in September. Great little spot! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place and we'll definitely be returning. It's situated near the foot of the megalithic Cairns. So plenty of lovely scenery. If you are into walking or cycling it's a great location.

Lovely food and friendly staff. We went there on a Sunday morning and whilst the restaurant was not too busy the owner sat down with us and shared his experience of setting up business. Feel that we should support such people who risk all as I am very sure that he has invested heavily. Highly recommend a visit.

Tea and coffee place was nice. Try the chocolate Oreo cake. Nice view and feel at the cottage. Do visit in Loughcrew.

Camped here this week 1 night, 2 parents 2 kids (8&9). Very low key looking when you arrive but we started with lovely lunch in onsite cafe, then kids loved playground all day, then we pitched tent thinking we were only ones there.. Did the short sharp walk up to the cairns which was very well worth it. (free entry... More

We stopped to pick up art from local artisans and got a bit of local history. There is a great photographer there which is a great way to remember the experience of the area.

We came upon this centre following a wedding day in Kells. The following morning, the B&B host suggested we walk to the top of the hill in Loughcrew. We obediently did so & really enjoyed it. Just what you need after a late night & early morning. Fabulous views from the top of the hill. Had tea & sandwich after... More
