Had a great lunch here. We all enjoyed the antipasto of pickled heart of palm, pickled eggplant, olives, cheese and their own prosciutto. Delicious! I had two small pizzas: anchovy and all dressed (con todo), both great. Others had the roast chicken, tropical pizza and...the lasagna, and really enjoyed them.More
We had pizza the crust absolutely incredible Bf had the lasagna again was also good I had the ravioli and u fortunately couldn’t eat it.Stuffed with a bland ground pork was confused as it did have a beef sauce on top Disappointing but the pizza...made up for it The staff were friendly service was quick Very reasonable pricesMore
I have been dining at Lilliana's for almost thirty years! The owner was one of the original pioneers from Italy in the 1950's. Her authentic style is still evident in most of the dishes, even superb panettone at Christmas. The downside: noisy from street traffic...coming up the hill behind the restaurant, and poor wine selection. The upside: reliably good food and friendly service at a moderate price. It is almost always a bustling, happy environment frequented by both locals and tourists.More
What a lovely place. The service was excellent. We were immediately seated. Drinks were brought quickly. Husband had a pizza...which I had some of... and it was delicious. I liked that they offer half orders on lasagne and spaghetti... not a huge appetite. I had...a half order if the Bolognese which was excellent. With my small appetite, I ate it all and regretted not getting the full order! It was a perfect size but it so good, I wanted more. Comfortable, great food, excellent service. Couldn't want for more.More
We have come to Lilliana's many times, and the food is always good. We love their ensalada mixta, and the vegetarian pizza. They put unusual ingredients like carrots, broccoli and cauliflower in it as well as the standbys, and it all tastes wonderful. The sauce...on their pizza is exceptional. Their house wine is good. We like to eat on the balcony, but the restaurant overlooks a busy street so it is noisy - I would rate it 5 otherwise.More
Awesome little place just off the main road in San Vito. Atmosphere is awesome and typical tico for an Italian. The owner/waitress was an awesome host. Funny and extremely attentive. The pizza here is "amazing" as well as the parma ham. Food service was great,...fresh ingredients and quick to deliver as well. Everything was catered for very professionally with a Spanish/Italian accent, as well as a smile all the way through. Definitely try the espresso afterwards, I know its from a machine, but still worth it. Dont miss this place.More
Right up there with the best izzas in Costa Rica. Great history in the town founded by immigrant Italians in the early 1950's. Great service and great Italian offerings.
What can I say, there is some miracle or secret in the pizza! it is delicious, crispy and fluffy and obviously baked with love. Amazing! It was really the best pizza I've tasted! I am sure everything else is also fantastic!
San Vito is an area of Costa Rica more should visit - beautiful highlands and wonderful scenery. We visited Liliana's for two reasons. First, as vegetarians we always look for good places to eat where we can have choice and secondly because it is the...last pizza and pasta restaurant that traces its history from the Italian immigration that created San Vito back in the 1950's. Everything was good to great - salads first and ice cold beer. then we had the Neapolitan pizza . Thick crust with a texture almost like Chicago pizza with fresh tomatoes and basil... really good for anywhere, let alone in the highlands near the Panama border. When you go to San Vito... and you should go... this is a must stop.More
