Booked a table for lunch today. Beautiful sunny day and views of the river were spoiled by very poor service and food. We were a party of three and were shown to our table. Waiting nearly fifteen minutes for someone to take our drinks order. When a waiter finally arrived at our table we ordered drinks and our lunch just... More

We arrived very optimistic from reading reviews and the hotel we are staying in recommended to come here. Once seated in the restaurant with the lovely view of the river, we placed our orders for food. I ordered 10oz rump steak. The waitress came & said due to menu change tomorrow there were only 8oz steaks and would be charged... More

My daughter and I are always on the look out for a place to meet half way between her location in Wales and mine in the Midlands. The Fleet seemed ideal as it is also almost entirely gluten free which I require. However, it was disappointing. The service was pretty slow - which may have seemed worse because I was... More

Popped in for a quick bite to eat on a Tuesday evening, the bar area was busy so it's obviously a good local pub. We were seated in the restaurant area which was relativity quiet (to be expected on a Tuesday!) Our waiter was very polite and we weren't left long before drinks & food orders. The food was lovely,... More

Book in advance! Sunday lunch is a popular time and easy to see why. Good for families, good for couples, nice surroundings. Good non-adventurous menu

Came here for a booking made in September for 18 people. We even called in the morning and placed a pre-order to make it easier and faster for both us and them. On the plus side it is a lovely decorated pub, fab garden overlooking the marina and river Avon. Menu was extensive and would cater for most tastes. However..... More

It has been about 12 mouths since we have been to the fleet inn and it seems to have gone down. Lovely sitting by the river but food comes in kids portions ie very small and only very average to poor quality. If this is the standard will use another pub when in the area.

Firstly, they forgot about our order. We asked after 1 hour. Waited for 1.5 hours, paid £2.95 for 7 chips. Extremely disappointed and will not return.

I booked lunch at the Fleet as a midway point when meeting friends from Worcester. Was delighted to see how full the restaurant was on a Wednesday lunchtime and even more so when I looked at the exciting menu. It was a good job that we had much to talk about, because it took some time to have a drinks... More

Description
Dear Guests welcome to the Fleet Twyning. We are a beautiful riverside pub on the edge of the river Avon. We pride ourselves on home cooked fresh food along with our traditional Wadworth Ales.

We get extremely busy in the summer time as we are a very popular destination pub and wait time on food can vary from 10 minutes to 1 hour, so we ask you to be very patient with us as we cook all your food to order from fresh produce.

In the winter it is advisable to book in advance as our tables get booked early on for weekends and early evenings.
