After seeing so many reviews we have decided to have a nice lunch in here. First impression is not the best - the terrace remember old times from early 80's, incl. tables. Staff - not well organized, we have been waiting more than 15 minutes...for the 1st contact, no smile, very formal. They try to present themselves as a fine dining restaurant, but is more a commercial type of property. They have a lot of seasonal staff, so the service is about 50 % from a fine dining restaurant. Food - the selection is quite wide, than they have a problem with a preparation and delivery time - main course more than 40 minutes. Today's trend is to serve less selection, more quality and local suppliers. In here there is a mixture of everything. We have decided to give them a 2nd chance, to have a dinner. Almost the same, like lunch, de javú. But the biggest shock came around 10PM, while they bring us a receipt without asking for it with an argument, they are going to close. At that time, more than 7 tables were sitting here. So we took the bottle of french Chablis with us to finish in the hotel. This could happen probably at the railway station pub, but not in the spa town. So our suggestion - if you have a lot of time, if u do not care for a quality service and have a lot of tolerance, this restaurant is the right place for u.More

I choose this restaurant to drink a coffee. I found a good and fresh cakes. My wife loved...Price is little bit higher like other coffee places

Love the place, come back everytime when in Trencianske Teplice. Great food, great value for money and very nice staff. Highly recommended!

The food and environment are great, but the staff is young, inexperienced, scared to talk or even arrogant.

we visited this place only for short lunch. I ordered soup and radler. soup was great but little bit expensive. Restaurant isn't belong to cheap group but I assume that for the higher you will get very good quality. Interesting obe was home radler (beer...+ home lemonade) really tasty.More

We had the same bad experience as "MR B" who reviewed this restaurant in August 2015 - strange that there was no effort to renew old pavement and dirty furniture. Wasps still a big problem. The staff was the worst - we had to wait...so long for taking of dishes, for a bill, ... the answer was that there is a lot of guests. Only the meals were really delicious. What a pity.More

Kursalon is one of the best in Trencianske Teplice. Building looks good from outside as well as inside, but the most important is that food is great, whatever you choose.

One of the best starters i ever eat. The steak tartar! The T-bone steaks and schnitzels were very well!

A magical environment from the end of the 19th century, excellent food and a lovely park just outside the door.

The place has nice outside area with bar, comfy chairs and cool place for relaxing lunch. The service is efficient. Drinks are served promptly and there is not a long wait for food. The food is excellent, steak cooked to perfection, portion big enough. Highly...recommended.More

Kursalon is a really nice place. Food was tasty and well served... (and I am not an "easy-to-be-impressed" customer :-))
