Enjoyed a lovely meal in the new outdoor dining area. Service was excellent even though the restaurant was really busy & there was a wedding on also. Food was tasty with a really good choice on the menu & there was great buzz in the...place. The outdoor dining area is really nice with plenty of shelter so at no time in the evening did we feel cold & we were there until almost 11pm. Great to see this business open again after all the lockdowns.More
We have been regular customers of Fallons over the last couple of years, and have recieved a consistant , high standard of both food, and service, each time.
This week , for the first time, we ordered their premade (cooked that day) dinners, to take...home and heat up, and I am delighted to say, that the quality and flavour did not waver ,even in the slightest, from that of a meal we would have recieved if it had been served to us whilst dining in the restraunt.
We are just kicking ourselves for not trying out this option sooner!
The lovely staff always go out of their way to accomdate you. You are never left waiting, or wanting for anything .
We will certainly be ordering for collection again soon, and cannot wait also to book a table for dinner with the family - as soon as the restrictions lift!
Thank you Fallons,
Jenna & Margaret.More
We ate in Fallons last night to celebrate our daughters birthday. All Covid-19 measures were in place and we felt very safe. The food was FABULOUS! There were 3 of us and each of us had different dishes. Each of us gave every dish 10...out of 10. We are really big foodies so 10 out of 10 is fantastic credit to the chefs! My husband had beetroot and goats cheese starter, I tasted it and it was gorgeous. A great start to our meal. My daughter is vegan so ordered the vegan chilli - I tasted it (I’m not vegan) but I would of happily ordered it. I had the linguini with shellfish, chilli and coriander. I don’t like too much chilli and mentioned this to the waitress. The chef put in the perfect amount of chilli. The dish was FABULOUS! Next time we go, I’m not even going to look at the menu, I’m going to order this! I woke up this morning wanting to taste it again! The Ivy in Dublin (which we love too) serve a similar dish but Fallons win by a mile with their dish, in fact there is no comparison. My husband had the hake in lobster butter sauce on risotto. He loved it. He normally has a steak but he was so glad he had this dish. For dessert I had chocolate fondant - absolutely perfect! It was exactly what a fondant should be - warm with chocolate oozing out of the centre served with vanilla ice cream. Delicious! The waitress brought out a scoop of vegan ice cream for our daughter to taste, it was coconut flavour. She loved it! The staff were absolutely fantastic. We normally go to Dublin for meals out but we’re so glad we went to Fallons last night, it really was wonderful. In these times, it is great to support local. Thank you to all the staff for a really fabulous night. We will be back soon.More
When entering Fallons I was told there was no table for another 2 hours?? I got beef for the main course in which was very rare and had to be handed back! The lamb in which my friend had got was mushy and rare also?...Not up to standards for the price we paid for both dinners! I was also charged for both dinners even though I had handed back one! Would not recommend Fallons food! Very unhappy customer!!!More
Slow cooked beef was extremely rare and parts were raw. Roast chicken was not ready at lunch time and wouldn't be ready for a further 45 mins after our order was placed. Some of the order was forgotten but added to the bill!!!!!!
