Staff are very friendly. Food was nice and they had a carvery available if we wanted to broaen our palates. We had coffee and were trying to be good not eating cakes with the coffee which is really hard :-) so the waitress was very...kind and gave us biscuits as a token instead. Have eaten dinner here before and wil gladly come back. Clleanliness is impeccable here too. Plenty of parking space and not far from M9More

Staff were very friendly when my family and I were there but when we arrived just after 2pm it felt like the food was finishing up and selection wasn't great. I ordered roast beef without gravy and when it arrived at the table I pointed...this put to the waitress who apologised and said she would change it. To my shock and disappointment they had rinsed it under the tap to wash the gravy off and put it back on the plate!!!!! They didn't even really try to disguise the fact that they had done it as water was on the plate and inbetween the slices and you could taste it. I waited to see if we would be asked if our food was okay but they never asked as they obviously knew there would be an issue. I did not make an issue as I was out with my family for lunch but brought the beef home for our dogs!More

I gave this pub a chance twice in a year but i don't think i will be going back as the food doesn't exceed my expectation. Though, hospitality of staff is great. I had chicken wrapped with bacon the other day, it was so dry.

I highly recommend Walls "The Priory" for such events. The food is excellent and value for money. The venue in the private area is perfect for family get togethers. The staff were brilliant and their attention to detail was on the button, with a special...mention to Amy. She was brilliant, we arrived an hour and a half before kick off and she had already setup the room, had the heating on and was so friendly and professional for such a young lady. Well done! All the other staff were great too from the bar staff the the restaurant staff, all pulling together and helping each other out. Walls has a real family atmosphere which is reflected not only in the ambiance of the venue but also in the friendliness of the staff members. Needless to say we will be back and would like to take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to all involved in making Calums day so special.More

Highly recommended. Very tasty food and the service was brilliant. Gorgeous vegetable soup and lovely fresh brown bread with plenty of butter. The steak was done just to my liking and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for.

As I said before I would come back to this establishment to give it another try. First visit it was acceptable this visit was much improved and they seem to have new management and new staff? Went on a Friday where they do a special...on steaks €17 for any steak. Probably the best fillet steak I've had in quite some time. Guinness was good. Service sometimes a little bit slow. Deserts very pleasant. Toilets clean. A little bit of a bad smell as you enter the front door perhaps the carpet could do with a wash. Lovely atmosphere in this very old building. All in all would recommend and will definitely be going back again.More

Nice atmosphere in there and really busy. We got carvery lunch and it was delicious. Just slow about our drinks needed to remind them twice. Decent price for the meal and generous portion. Worth to stop by definitely.
