Fancy dinner on the beach side

Chill Out Cafe in The Chill is the fanciest dinner location we have visited on Koh Chang thus far. I would recommend it for a romantic dinner and for a special occasion. It’s good to come in the evening - they are serving to the tables right on the beach, and with mild lighting the ambience is just amazing. Secondly, it’s without any doubt the best pinha colada on the island - they make it of fresh coconut milk and fresh pineapple. It can be served right inside the coconut! The food is served in a fancy and artistic way. Service is extremely friendly and attentive. The place is quite pricey compared to alike restaurants at Koh Chang but I would say it is worth every dollar spent. Totally appropriate for a fancy dinner. Would come again!

Excellent fresh food

Excellent food both Thai and Western. Staff very serviceminded and attentive. A little bit more expensive than street restaurant but food is so good and freshly made and very decorative decorated. This restaurant also offer very good wine. In the evening they put table on the beach and it is very romantic to sit by the sea and eat your dinner. Several times a week there are special dinner buffet with entertainment. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is amazing

The breakfast here is amazing. This is the only hotel that offers breakfast from 7am to 10:30pm so you don't have to rush in the morning to make it in time for breakfast. The cafe offers variety of food for breakfast and it's unlimited. I highly recommend the smoothie and pad thai. The smoothie is super fresh and the pad thai here is probably the best pad thai I ever eat before. For dinner, I highly recommend the Duck confit and lamb chop. The cafe also offers a great variety of desserts. I highly recommend the honey toast and chocolate lava, it tastes even better than After You cafe. The food here is amazing and the staffs are super polite. Highly recommended

Chill out is a Thai style resturant. This resturant is cheap to people who love Thai food and have a great beautiful view in the same time. You can take a photo aroundbthe resturant and have to try to eat the Thai food at this resturant.

Great service and food

The quality of the food was fantastic and the flavour was delicious. The breakfast was also very good. The Italian sausage was nice. No food was undercook or overcook. The food was perfect. The service also great, the waiter/waitress comes and check and look after the table all the time. Best lamb chop I've ever had, it has no lamb stinky flavour at all. The texture of the lamb was tender and not too chewy. The lava cake was very delicious. The cake wasn't too sweet just the right amount of sweetness. The ice cream was also nice.

There are so many varieties of food, especially for breakfast. So surprised me😳that here they serve breakfast till everning, that mean you can have breakfast any time you want to have. Listen to sound of wave, chill out and enjoy all meals here.🌴🍹Reccomend!!!

All-day breakfast here is da best!

We stayed at The Chill Resort & Spa for two nights and got a chance to indulge ourselves in sumptuous meals at Chill Out Cafe the whole stay. The seafood buffet dinner was super fresh and delicious. The All-day breakfast from 7am till 10pm was amazing! Totally one of the highlights here!

Incredible!

Beautiful view. Stunningly good food—to both the eye and the palate. Kind and thoughtful service. The wait staff moved umbrellas around to keep us in the shade during our meal without even asking. For dessert the bananas in coconut milk was luscious! I could have eaten a bucket of it!

Really lovely place. Beautiful sunset

We visited here on boxing day, as we were in Koh Chang for a few days and wanted a sunset beach side meal. This place was highly rated and certainly did not disappoint. Tip: this café is part of the spa and hotel. If arriving by car, the car park is opposite the hotel entrance, on the other side of the road. To enter the café, you have to walk past hotel reception, the spa and towards the beach. The level of service is superb; the staff are very attentive and professional. We felt very looked after, even though we were not guests of the hotel. The menu is varied, offering seafood, Thai, Western and fusion options. We chose dishes from the Thai Fusion menu, and I specifically had the green curry with ground beef and roti. The food was lovely. The price is reasonable. My dish (pictured) was around 300THB. The best thing about this place is its location. The hotel has its own private beach, which features stunning pink and orange sunsets. If you want to experience this, it's best to book ahead, and aim to arrive around 5:30pm. Highly recommended!

Best Breakfast on Koh Chang

You can enjoy breakfast served at any time of the day, and it's always fresh and delicious. The restaurant staff provides exceptional service, and they even remembered my dietary preferences on the second day, which was so lovely. Dinner was fantastic, and the hotel offers the best sunset view on Koh Chang

Fantastic hotel on Koh Chang

Fantastic hotel! Nice staff, comfortable beds, clean and fresh. Cozy pool, shopping and food right outside the hotel. Can highly recommend The Chill. The hotel's restaurant, Chill Out Café, has a calm and pleasant atmosphere, the food is great and breakfast can be eaten at any time during the day and is ordered directly to the table. 👌 Can also recommend their cooking class. I got to cook green curry, Pad thai and spring rolls and it tasted magically good! Got the recipes home with me, so now I have to cook Thai food at home.

Fantastic food - the best we experienced on Koh Chang. Incredibly friendly staff and lovely surroundings overlooking the sea. They were good at gluten-free options, serving both gluten-free bread, spring rolls and main courses. Would love to come back!

THE hotel on Koh Chang - Perfection

THE place to be on Koh Chang. Our stay of 6 nights was pure perfection. The hotel facilities and rooms are in top condition (despite Covid, this stands out compared to many other hotels which understandably are not in excellent condition), the restaurant was excellent and there is a lot of variety. The breakfast is available all day, which just adds to the chill vibe the hotel has. From the restaurant you can take a walk along the beach. The hotel itself has a good location, several restaurants and shops in walking distance and also a good starting point to explore the island. All of Covid / hygiene rules have been followed at all times. We felt very safe. But the best about the hotel is the staff. We‘ve been traveling across Thailand for 5 months during our parental leave, with two little children (one infant). We visited the nicest hotels across the country but what we will take home is the memories with the nice people we met. The staff of the chill is exceptional and our children loved them. We come to Koh Chang for many years and we liked the Chill the most. Don’t be afraid to visit Thailand! You will not regret.

Unsurpassed in Ko Chang!!

Everything about Chill Out is fantastic! Great setting on the beach, with stupendous sunset views. Fabulous, attentive service. Some of the best tasting fish we've had in years (we found ourselves ordering a second serving, it was so good). Nice buy-one-get-one Happy Hour making for very reasonable price of drinks. Free popcorn! We will most definitely go back next time in Ko Chang!!

View 10/10 Presentation 10/10 2 of the fish and chips were a 7/10 but the rest of the food was no good . Cold in the middle and no taste Should never be no1 on this list . And hold on to your hat when the bill comes out
