First time for Sunday Lunch. Pleasant setting, very good service. Had roast beef and has to be about the best i have tasted. Pate and goats cheese starters were very good. Would highly recommend.

We went to Truffles for a friends 50th Birthday and although it was hard for us to find the food, drinks and service was absolutely fantastic. We had the Sunday lunch special and it was fabulous and everyone loved it. The cocktails were great too...;0). The restaurant was very clean and the decor very pleasant and modern. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a lovely meal for a special occasion. (Emailing them with requests etc were answered very quickly )More

Best cuisine I’ve had on the costa del Sol in 5 years Krisztián’s service was second to none and the food presentation and flavors were very impressive. 10/10. Highly recommend the sea bass. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and service. We have travelled the world and eaten in some of the best restaurants, this place has a comprehensive food and wine list prepared to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. Our experience started in the bar next door...with a smaller menu, they offered us a 10 percent discount if we preferred to eat in Truffles instead. At first we thought it maybe too formal with a child of 10. The manager asked us why we thought this and made us feel very relaxed and welcomed us to come in. The service, attention to detail and food was excellent. Highly recommend.More

Truffles is managed by Welsh partner James Chick, formerly head waiter at the renowned and much missed Arte Cafe in the Centro Commercial Elviria. We dined there on 7 February 2019 and again on 5 February 2020. In 2019 we both had the Filet Steak...which was cooked to perfection and I had the White Chocolate and Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Summer Fruits. When I questioned the soft base, James explained that because the dessert was served in a glass bowl, it was necessary to have a soft base to prevent accidents when diners broke into a hard base surrounded by glass. Perhaps think of changing the presentation, James? This year I had the Sea Bass on a bed of Madagascar Lentils and Creamy Vanilla Sauce and my wife had the Pan Fried Salmon on a Red Pepper Cream with a Croquette and Sauteed Tomatoes on the Vine. Both excellent dishes accompanied by a portion of steamed fresh vegetables al dente and they were al dente and a bottle of a fruity Enate Chardonnay. For dessert, I couldn't resist another go at the Passion Fruit Cheesecake and my wife had the Apple Strudel with Vanilla Ice Cream and a Warm Bailey's Sauce. I was allowed two spoonfuls which were delicious with just a hint of cinnamon. Our bill for two courses and a very respectable wine was just €83.70 (net of 10% Marriott Gold Card Discount) €93.00 gross, more or less the same as last year with a second dessert but the fish courses substituted for the filet steaks. James is a knowledgeable and friendly host who serves up top quality dining in elegant and tasteful surroundings at a fair price. The restaurant celebrates its second anniversary in March 2020 and under James' experienced guidance is sure to go from strength to strength. Highly recommended.More
