We ate here three times as part of our walking holiday and I loved the food. Traditional yes but made with care and imagination. I loved the smoked aubergine dip and the stuffed tomatoes in particular. It was also very relaxed.

We ate two dinners and breakfast at Artemis restaurant and enjoyed the fresh and tasty fare. The final night we joined in the bread-baking and BBQ for the Samaria experience. What a blast we had!

We stopped in here at the end of the Samaria Gorge hike for a well earned lunch. The taverna doesn't have a sea view, but unlike all the tavernas by the sea, is doing very good authentic Greek food in a much less touristy setting....More
