We tried this on our way to the way to the hotel. It is literally at her house. When you order your food you can see into her kitchen. The food is very authentic. I had the jerk chicken and it was pretty good, it came with rice, beans and some slaw. If you're looking for some authentic Cayman cuisine,... More

Totally enjoyed the great local food of Barbeque chicken at Vivennes Kitchen in East End ( an old caymanian style home with great view of the ocean and good local food)

I thought I'd love Vivine's. A special local restaurant run by Vivinne who lives in the house and cooks from her kitchen. Julia Child of Grand Cayman and the simple pleasures of a homecooked meal. However, we weren't blown away. We tried curried shrimp (tiny shrimps with a bland curry sauce) and chicken and dumplings and jerk chicken. All the... More

Ms Vivine serves up Cayman style dishes from a Dutch door off her patio. You sit on the patio and eat as if you were her guest. There are unique dishes that if you are adventurous you should try! We've never been disappointed.

Though my kids are normally starving, they found some many quirky things to entertain themselves such as look at the chickens and pigeons in... More
