Had a turkey torta for 40 pesos. It was extremely delicious. The turkey was not dry at all. Just as good as all of the other tortas available in DF. Be careful with the pickled jalapenos. They're very spicy!

The photos of the food look horrible ... but the actual turkey sandwiches here are pretty good. At least for Mexico, where it's almost impossible to find oven-roasted turkey. I sometimes come here on Thanksgiving week ... but end up missing my cranberry sauce & gravy, that would make it almost like home. Always crowded & busy; the owner always... More

I got lots of memorable moments here, they're so nice, the owner is very polite always asking better service to customers, eating close to you, he's very humble. My specialty is turkey soup served in a cup (a dish is too much) and a marinated tenderloin, smoked pork leg or smoked turkey "tortas" filled with guacamole, I like traditional "chiles... More

The place is maybe not the nicest looking one, but it is very famous with the locals. The "tarta de pavo" and "tarta de bacalau" are delicious. Try them if you are looking for a "snack".

Tiny place, cheap, delicious turkey sandwiches! The Centro Historico has such wonderful food. This and El Cardenal are among the best!

It was a bit difficult to find good, inexpensive, authentic Mexican food in the Centro Historico neighborhood where we stayed. We're glad that Lonely Planet and Tripadvisor led us to La Casa del Pavo (The House of Turkey). Our server was very friendly. The turkey tacos and turkey sandwich were both good. It was crowded, mostly with locals. The menu... More

Another great little find in the Centro Historico, and they specialize in turkey. Not Turkish food, no. Gobble, gobble turkey. And it's GOOD.

This hole in the wall serves only one thing, roast turkey. Turkey tacos, turkey tortas, turkey soup. All fresh, all delicious, this place moves a lot of turkey. Carvers up front, a few stools, some booths, a smattering of tables. If your stomach needs a rest, the turkey rice soup is just what the doctor ordered.
