What great food. Breakfast and dinner were extremely well cooked, huge portions and great value. Just wish I had been there longer to sample more of the dishes.

Had various meals here, the grill, the chicken and the chilli. All were substantial portions, quick service and very attentive. Would recommend the chilli, just the right amount of kick and plenty of flavour.

Absolutely appalling meal tonight!!! Ruined my birthday. Chips were undercooked and brown from being left to the air and the gravy was so congealed it was like a paste and had obviously been sat there all day. When we complained the waiters attitude was absolutely disgusting and he only conceded to give 10% off the entire bill (which included drinks)... More

I am a believer of shopping\eating locally, after being in business ,this is so important... A few Sundays ago ,made a 25 mile round trip to "eat out" hence, we rang up to book table.. The weather was awful, had thought of cancelling, but thought unfair to do so.. On arriving, greeted by stone faces(one in particular, all in black!!!!!!why she was there God... More

This restaurant is a nice little place; it looks great, it well maintained and manicured, and the tables and cutlery are clean and well placed. However there seemed to be a distinct lack of care when it came to serving customers; the staff seemed to leisurely mill around despite a growing queue at the bar. After waiting an age to... More

We have been to the Afan lodge several times and had some good meals. We visited last week with our daughter who like all teenagers is a fussy eater . She fancied a bacon baguette , there wasn't one on the menu but there was a chicken and bacon. I asked if it would be possible to just have the... More

Been for evening meals several times and could not fault the food, drinks or welcome you receive. Has been quite busy as it's linked with the biking but that only adds to the unique atmosphere you gets from customers worldwide.the friendly staff and superb views make it an ideal location to sample the best of wales.
