Visited here with my husband for a joint 50th birthday present. Having never eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant before, we were eagerly anticipating discovering what makes a restaurant worthy of this accolade. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Kevin, the chef proprietor ,...More

Kevin and Jacki are excellent hosts who made us feel very relaxed. Good rooms and bar where we enjoyed pre dinner drinks and nibbles. Our dinner was excellent and highly creative, would definitely recommend! Many thanks, Charlie & Emma

We had the tasting menu and really enjoyed it. The food quality was high and creative, with good service. The attention to detail in the dishes is high and the balance of different foods was just right. It was a most enjoyable evening.

If you try to define why some restaurants keep a Michelin star, a visit to the Neptune will help. The restaurant is small ( maybe 16 or so covers?), and there are no ostentations or pretensions here. It's informal, and most of the dinners were...More

Very welcoming owners, the most exquisite food, lots of choice on the menu. A very beautiful beach style bedroom and the breakfast was divine. Thanks for a lovely time Kev & Jackie, hope to see you again soon.

Entire family had the tasting menu - very good value considering other offerings within the region by Michelin starred restaurants. Food was absolutely top drawer, and Kevin and Jacki both offered fantastic service. Members of our group had been to Midsummer House in Cambridge last...More

My husband and I had previously stayed here and had promised ourselves a return visit: our wedding anniversary provided the perfect excuse to book in for dinner, bed and breakfast. Our room was lovely and we really liked the little touches: fresh milk; home-made biscuits;...More

My wife and I stayed here as one of our excursions in East Anglia, eating and staying at the highest rated restaurants and hotels. The Neptune did not disappoint. A small period building it has a few rooms and is ideally placed as a fine...More

Hi Kate, My opinion that this is a restaurant that is geared towards couples/fine dinning though I believe well behaved children are accepted and Sunday Lunch offered. I think a quick call to the Neptune would be advisable.

Hi, not sure they allow dogs, but the food really is exceptional. There is a hotel/ inn just over the road called The Lodge, which is a bit more informal. I really recommend the Neptune for a meal though, it's not stuffy... More

Description
This restaurant has some rooms, and has a listing under B&Bs, but I feel should feature under restaurant section for Hunstanton - as that is its main strength and focus.
