This is a branch of it's parent Chinese pastry shop in china town Manila. The store still carries their famous bean bun, peanut rolls (ground peanuts rolled up in peanut sheets. Their taro cake/bun which I always buy is delicious.

This Chinese Deli/grocery is also called DEC. I just found out this outlet was closed 2 months ago. They also made home deliveries. Most items tasted satisfactory but some are priced quite high because these were supplied by others. And do not be scared by the sour face of the cashier when you ask for a sales invoice or using... There are a lot of frozen food in their upright freezers, like fish tofu, dumplings, siomai, and desserts. Their shelves are full of can goods, chips, pastries, and condiments. They also sell newly fried or steamed Chinese dumplings, squid balls, fish balls, kikiam, machang that you can eat right away for merienda. This DEC has been around for a long... More

Tucked in a quiet corner along Annapolis in Greenhills and just a stone's throw away from the Greenhills theater and Promenade , DEC is a guaranteed outlet for Chinese take outs. The Chicken pies , barbeques and dimsum are a good take out items.

DEC sells Hopia in a food stall inside the Shoemart Supermarket ( near Watsons) in Makati. It is a popular dessert or snack which is of Chinese origin. They have different types hopias which are like small cakes ( cubed or diced, with winter melon etc) and sold by the piece. You can just buy one each to taste.

DEC along Wilson St. used to have space for customers who want to dine in, but they removed that small space, making DEC just a grocery now. I really love their fresh lumpia. Always fresh really and prepared as you order. They used sell cooked lobster balls and it was my favorite too. Their fresh avocado drink is just so... More

As a grocery, they do have food that are ready to eat. But these are all take out. There is no dine in facilities, therefore it is not a restaurant. In fairness, I do go here to buy take out food, among other things. Their bbq, chinese lumpia, dimsums, and the noodles are good. The take out food is easily... More
