Coming from the Anally B&B we came here for dinner. Seated outside and enjoyed the evening sun. Very nice staff and very good food! Large whiskey collection behind the bar.
I was pleasantly surprise by the high quality of the food in this little, totally out of the way, pub. Pat, the owner/manager, was friendly and welcoming. The seafood platter was fresh and flavorful. The fish and chips was divine! I highly recommend this pub.
We had a soft drink with ice in the sweltering heat in this pub. They told us they didn’t have chilled minerals
as there wouldn’t be much call for them! It’s a handy place for s quick stop if you’re in West Clare

My recollection from last year is that they only serve food during the summer months. Might be best to call first, or stop in Doolin or Lisdoonvarna for lunch. I'm with you, I'd prefer to eat in Fanore!
