We went to the Granary Restaurant prior to going into the Rare Breeds Centre. We were looking forward to a nice cooked breakfast before our day out but unfortunately that's not what we got. To start with the price is £7.95. For this you get half a tomato, two hash browns, a fried egg, a sausage and some baked beans.... More

Absolutely lovely food, cooked fresh and good portions, clean and plenty of choice. A little bit expensive but worth it.

Had a lovely meal here at a reasonable price compared to some places. A lot of the food used is locally sourced and some even produced on site as the restaurant is attached to the Rare Breeds Centre.

This restaurant is located next door to the Rare Breeds Centre. It is very spacious, enough room for prams and wheelchairs, also an area to eat outside if you wish. There are disabled toilet and baby change facilities, I think it would be better to have a pull down change table within the disabled as not a lot of room... More

Great food and friendly, helpful staff. The quiche was obviously homemade with large chunks of bacon (previous residents??) and the chips were hot, hot, hot. Prices were excellent too. The restaurant was partly set up for a birthday party which looked pretty and fun. We had a late lunch so it was fairly quiet but I imagine it gets very... More

We went to the restaurant first where they tried to serve my wife a half-cooked pork burger. The manageress tried to insist it was fine. My wife is a quality manager and technical auditor in the food industry with over 20 years of experience, I've been in food for 33 years and am a quality assessor in the meat business.... More

Simple food, menu has halved since last time we went and no longer do their tasty roast dinners. Burgers, Sandwiches, all day breakfast and a couple of daily specials at around £6.95 for an adult meal. Children's menu is good and there is a little play area and in ground paddling pool.

The choice of food here for the childrens party is very good. I think there were 6 different options for the children to choose from. There was three types of squash provided and it was being topped up lots of times during our visit.
