Having been to Greens before, our expectations were high but sadly we were left slightly disappointed. The food was mostly alright, the vegetables were awful. Dry curling and undercooked carrots being the worst of it. There was plenty of it and the staff were very...More

Nice canapes and champers when we arrived. Staff were excellent. Menu was decent - though the chips were a bit too massive and rather potatoey (more sauce needed or make thinner). Luckily everyone appeared to be quite tolerant of the raucous end of our table...More

Lovely Sunday lunch of roast beef. Followed by a great dessert of sticky toffee pudding. Good portion sizes and service was faultless. Kudos to the young waiter we had.

My husband and I booked for Sunday lunch and were advised to go for earlier rather than later so as not to have to rush which we thought was very kind. Fresh bread, butter and oil with balsamic was served with a pre-drink each. We...More

I think it was 9.30 pm but best to call with the restaurant. We got there for 8pm, so didn't really need to check.

No car park as I remember (maybe wrong) but we parked in the square. It can be busy but we have always managed to find somewhere in the square or near by roads.

Greens restaurant & bar is situated on the corner of the historic Wickham square. It is very easy to find and to park. The outside of the property looks traditional, well cared for and inviting. The inside is light & airy with a contemporary feel. Restful colours and wooden blinds add to the ambience. Crisp linen napkins, fresh flowers, friendly professional service and superb fresh food. Everything on the seasonal menus is homemade, using locally sourced produce whenever possible. The secret graden overlooking Wickham water meadows and the river Meon is a superb location in summer for a relaxing lunch. Owners Frank & Carol Duckworth have been running this establishment since 1985 and they are as passionate today as they were when they began trading. Their tag line of 'nothing is too much trouble' is as relevant today as it was in 1985. The menu includes fresh king scallops, mussels, sea bream, Hampshire 21 day aged steaks, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
