We had a lot of folk recommend Rauda Husid to us. We really enjoyed the meal. The lobster soup was good - not the absolute best I had in Iceland, but quite tasty. The presentation was lovely for our whole meal, and the service was...More

The quality of the food and service is in no connection to the price. Both fish and meet where over cooked and the staff needed training.

My medium raw beef was closer to well done. One of us got the wrong dish, slow Staff, uncleaned tables everywhere. Could work as a simple cafe if they were cheaper, not a restaurant.

It's a french like atmosphere with french styled food. Well made, well served and expensive (but so is Iceland, I don't think that is too much for what you get in this country).

Great lobster soup, great service, must visit if you are passing through! The lobster soup has tons of langoustines which are tender and very flavorful!

Excellent lobster soup. Fish soup so-so. Great char. Tasty Icelandic lobsters. Soups more than $20. Mains $40-60.

Lovely food and great service, peaceful location. Much better value than a 3 course meal in Reyjkavik and a perfect treat after a long drive back fro Vik on the south coast. We also saw the northern lights from just outside the village.

the cooking method is very good to taste Iceland lobster. The hot soup has many seafood included.

Great lunch. Excellent cod loins and scampi pasta. Recoment the food to everyone. Nice restaurant, not too crowded, at least not today.

Hello, I was just wondering if there were many dishes to choose from for people who are celiac (gluten allergy) as well as lactose intolerant. Thank you!

Hi! Almost any dish on the menu can be made gluten-free and dairy-free. There are a few exceptions, which are marked on the menu, and I'm afraid all of our desserts contain either gluten or dairy. But for starters and... More
