We ate an elegant and delicious lunch at this spot, which is off the beaten path in Languedoc -- not too far from St. Guilhem Le Desert. Delightful ambiance, charming staff with first class welcome by English speaking chef and perfect service by the helpful maitre'd/waitress. The restaurant was about to close for a week, so not all of the menu was available which did not bother us. Also, the credit card machine 'was not working' which was no problem as we had plenty of cash. The... More

The menu promised much and consequently we were more unimpressed than we perhaps should have been. The entree in four parts was too toy-like: a morsel of shrimp between two thinly sliced deep-sea scallops that I hope were either steamed or quickly braised. Less precious were the canette dish my wife ordered and the other featuring canard that was mine.... More
