Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I strongly recommend this restaurant. Sitting, eating and kids playing outside like in a 5 star park. It was the nicest outdoor setting I have ever seen. On top of that excellent, always smiling, traditionally dressed and helpful service. Food was also super. Also I want to highlight their readiness to cook for you, especially for kids, anyting even if not listed in the menu. The only downfall are prices. For a meal you can expect to pay at least 12 euros but if you have a special occasion, then it is worth it.

Slovensky grob is well known for goose, but we did not expect that it can be much better than other places. And it was. From nice enviroment to great livers, goose and lokse (potato pancakes). Wine selection was local but very good, service was OK.

Group of 9 friends, we decided to try the local goose and duck so we book in advance and we agree with the restaurant on the menu. Therefore, when at the restaurant, we weren't even given the menu, to check possible alternatives and the price list. We were served some goose liver (small portions, not everyone wanted it) and cabbage salad with pickles as starter, then one goose and one duck to share between all, served together with traditional red cabbage and loksas. Then apple strudel as dessert and someone ordered coffee and/or slivovica. To drink we had water and red wine. Even if we somewhat agreed on the prices in advance, the bill is surprisingly high, and we felt definitely overcharged. We paid a total of 90 euros just for the small bits of liver, 30 euros of loksas (we never decided we wanted so many of it), plus some other 30 for the cabbage and so on. We paid more than 120 euros for the wine, with the waiter that was opening bottles and filling our glasses non-stop, without even asking if we wanted some more or not. He even decided to open the last bottle when some of us were having coffee! Total bill: 465 euros! When, seeing this, we asked if we could at least have a free spirit as digestive, we were impolitely denied. The food and location are very nice but this doesn't justify for ripping off your guests. We all felt swindled and I wouldn't recommend this place.

Goose was very good and duck too, we ate one portion of goose, starter with liver , wine and dessert, 52 euro for person, no way... too much expensive for slovakia prices, I never will go there again, never never never again.

We stopped here because our favourite place for Goose Feast was not operating on the day of our visit. Place was easy to be found, nice, clean, staff not really interacting with clients, but efficient and polite. We really take Husacina every single Year and this visit was kind of average: the goose liver should have been prepared as one piece and than sliced not to be prepared in slices, at least we had that feeling. The home made cabbage salad - pickles style, was excellent ! The goose was too greesy, overroasted on the top while still too fat inside, the meat was still firm on the bone, cabbage ok. Lokse- the potato pancake were fine. Portions extremely large what is good of course when it comes to the price. We wanted to try something new but will stick to our traditional place next time. But place was nicely occupied and people seemed happy there.

Grobsky Dvor does a great job preparing and presenting roast goose. Pancakes and Kraut was good. One goose for four of us was too much but the taste was great together with Mueller Thurgau wine.

Visit here with friends. Long lunch. Service was good, food was good. Easy way to spend some hours with good goose. Very friendly prices. Quite far from Bratislava center, taxi-trip takes maybe 30-40 minutes.

September and October is when Slovaks eat a lot of roast goose. It's sort of an extended version of the USA's Thanksgiving when a lot of turkeys grace American dining rooms. In Slovakia, the goose is king this time of year and Grobsky Dvor does a great job preparing and presenting roast goose along with all the side dishes. The atmosphere was very lively and energetic. The traditional Slovak music performed and sung by a couple of experienced musicians really contributed to the atmosphere. It was quite a memorable experience and a fun place for business and pleasure.
