During our staying in Slovakia on our way to Lubovnia stopped in the city of Kežmarok to meet friends from Poland. The great surprise was the "Kežmarska Resturacia" situated at the end of the main street of the city center close to the castle -...the building on the corner. It was crowded and we were 4 adults and 5 kids ... but still we were served in less than 45 minutes, the food was excellent and the personnel very disposable and kind. A place is worth to be visited and have a lunch there.More
They could speak neither German nor English. We went in, weren't welcomed, I had to ask for a table. They could not show us a clean table, we were simply told (shown) to choose any. We weren't given the menu card for 12 minutes, so...I decided to leave the place.
Nem tudtak semmilyen nyugat-európai nyelven, nem üdvözöltek, nekem kellett asztalt kérnem. A számos leszedetlen asztal közül választhattam, utána sem takarították le. Az étlapot 12 perc múltán sem hozták oda, úgyhogy felálltunk és kijöttünk.More
The food was pretty okay ,big portions with good price ,menu is also in english but what i didnt find very enjoyable was cleanness of this restaurant. The table cloth was so dirty and those old things on walls that should show slovak culture werent in...good condition too.The waitress was very nice and polite.More
Stopped in here for dinner on 2 October when most other places in town were already closed.
Had the garlic soup, Saris dark beer, and shared the Shepherd's Plate for Two.
Meal was good, portions large and hearty. Just what we needed for a cold,...damp evening.
Service was very good.More
