Lovely service and excellent food!! We had a lovely time in this family restaurant. Fresh pasta and fresh fish and homemade dessert! Tiramisu was exquisite! Highly recommended!

OMG...I had the just caught fish, prepared at the table. Now I can't have it back home because nothing compares. My partner had pasta. Also spoiled. Wine suggestion came from the owner, local vineyard, can't compete with what is at LCBO. Coffee and desert!!!!! We seriously discussed purchasing a property close by just to become a local and eat here... More

Great restaurant. I wanted the Risotto di Gò (traditional dish from Burano) and they had it. Absolutely delicious and it's a must if you visit the island. The risotto can be ordered if you are minimum 2 people. But the staff were so nice they let me have the risotto even though I was solo :) The bread and crackers... More

The service is beyond hospitality ! The menu is well curated and has a lot of local fish and seafood. The sommelier is well versed and knowledgeable on the local wines. The menu is written in several languages for all the tourists that visit. We walked in but later it got very busy so perhaps it is best to make... More

It was our first time in Burano, and we followed the advise of other tripadvisor visitors to pick up that place and we were really happy. The owner and all waiters are there for you, always smiling, joking with you. The owner is also a very good advisor for wine. Food is really good as well and the tiramisu is... More

My wife and I have been coming here for many years. Why you ask? Consistently well prepared and pristine fresh fish in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It's not cheap but then again you will be served the very best. If you like risotto try the risotto di Go. This is a specialty of the house. This small fish is... More

Had a very short time for lunch before my boat tour left. Stopped in here by chance. My waiter recommended the pasta with lobster. Great choice!! The meal came very quickly, it was the perfect portion size for lunch, and the staff were all friendly. Nice stop

Visiting in the low season, there are fewer choices on Burano. Gatto Nero had just closed for the winter and it was a choice between Da Romano or here. Having read some average reviews of Da Romano we decided to give Da primo a shot. It has a cozy atmosphere, a lot of locals dining here and it's nice to... More

Ate here on the recommendation of the hotel as a family owned restaurant and excellent dining experience. We were not dissappointed. The owner and his wonderful daughters and wife treated us like kings and queens. The service was spot on, the Italian wine they recommended was delicious, and reasonable, and the food was cooked and served perfectly. This is with... More

We were introduced to this restaurant by our concierge and he did not make a mistake. This restaurant is wonderful. It is a small family run restaurant on the island of Burano near Venice. Paolo is the head of the family and takes great care of his clientele, speaking English, French, and of course Italian as well as others. His... More
