This was our first visit to Da Piero and it was a special Birthday treat for my husband. We were really looking forward to it. I had researched the restaurant in advance and the reviews were very encouraging. We both had the Arancino to start which was very tasty. I had the marinated beef Sicilian style which was quite nice.... More

This was our first visit to da piero, just my husband and I went on a Friday night. Let's start with the most important thing... the food. I am quite adventurous with my eating and was pleased to see many things I have never tried before. It was also fantastic to have a huge range as a vegetarian. Starters: I... More

So tonight was our 3rd visit and even though the amazing hostess was not there as she was poorly (get well soon) the food was up to the same very high standards The ladies on service were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A little gem

My husband and I visited Da Piero for Valentine's Day and enjoyed yet another FANTASTIC meal. The menu is unique, the food exquisite, and the service exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome the moment we arrived and were well looked after by the attentive staff all evening. The food is just lovely- my husband who is, himself, a... More

We booked for an anniversary meal after seeing so many fantastic reviews, and years worth of good food awards. (How??) On arrival we sat at our table and were asked if any of our party were vegetarian or vegan, when we said no the waitress (dawn) took away the vegetarian menus, might have been nice to have the choice to... I read your review and would just like to make a few comments. My wife, Dawn, would have gladly let you read the Vegetarian and Vegan menus had you asked. There were no complaints about the starters on the night, in fact, if my wife remembers correctly, they were all finished. The tagliatelle are made with the red wine in... More

Beautiful pasta and arancino to start. Have the melanzana parmigiana - top flavours. For mains beautiful swordfish, cod and the lamb chops are marvellous.

We have been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while now and eventually went with friends on Friday evening. The food is exceptional, from the homemade bread made from grain they mill themselves to the depth of flavour in the pasta sauces this is really great food. The hospitality of the owners is warm and welcoming. We cannot believe... More

We were treated to a meal here by our daughter and partner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose it as it had been featured in the Waitrose magazine for producing genuine Italian (Sicilian) cuisine; and the food did not disappoint. Well prepared and presented with an adequate early bird menu and a very good a la carte menu. Food... More

What an evening, what a welcome! We came here about 10 years ago and not had a chance again due to kids! First time we have had a meal together child free for a long time. I treated my husband as he has looked after us all for 7 weeks since I broke my ankle. From the minute we walked... More

We've driven past so many times and finally got the opportunity to go for our anniversary. It really didn't disappoint. The food was fantastic, as was the service. It's clear that they really do care about what they put forward, both in terms of quality and authenticity. Great wine list and digestives (limoncello was a great reminder of being in... More
