We ate quite a few meals here including a takeaway picnic for our boat trip. Every meal was excellent and the staff spoke good English. The fish amok was outstanding (I've eaten and cooked quite a few over the years!). The coffee was great especially the more traditional version - hot or served over ice and sweet milk - rich... Beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, good food (but the portions are rather small) and very friendly staff. This is just the perfect place to relax if you have had enough of tha loud, dirty and dusty towns of cambodia!

this is a quite expensive restaurant for banlung ratanakiri and you expect to find a happy island among the boring local cambodian restaurant offer ... but terres rouges is definitely disappointing ... inspite the good offer the quality does not meet the expectations and the dishes are overpriced .. bur great for couples in love if do not care for... We ate here before and after our gibbon trek and we were really surprised by the quality of the food. We ate local dishes and they were lovely. I would particularly recommend the fish amok.

A gorgeous place to relax. They messed up our massage appointment, made days in advance, because of staff not understanding English, but did their best to accommodate, and the Khmer scrub and steam was exotic and worth every penny. Lovely pool. The restaurant was disappointing, and we should just have had a drink there. Gorgeous gift shop. The young man... More

We ate here 3 nights running. Everything we had was excellent. We tried many different Cambodian dishes and they inspired us to purchase a Cambodian cook book but we doubt we'll be able to replicate the them to the standard of this restaurant. The cocktails are the best in Cambodia too.

I have only visited TR as a day guest to use their pool, but I have done this once a week for 9 weeks. The pool is clean and very relaxing, and the facilities are great. The staff however aren't so good. One refused to give me my change even when I explained what I handed over, and flat out... More

Of course prices are high compared to cambodian standards, but if you want to get something very tasty in a charming colonial styled restaurant - go there

For the traveler who spends most of their time amongst the locals, working with them, educating them, while living in something less than luxury, this Lodge is refuge. In the eight years since I stumbled upon its beauty (after a long trek in Virachey forest jungle), it has expanded in tasteful Khmer style ..and added a beautiful salt purified swimming... More

We stayed at Terres Rouge hotel and the restaurant was the most disappointing part of our stay. We had one lunch of average and very expensive Cambodian food (curry and stir fry), and a Western dinner of terrible pizza (waiter said it was brought from Phnom Penh!) and pumpkin soup which was fine but clearly from a can. It seems... More
