Been here a few times and the place is a great space with a good atmosphere (or should I say vibe). Coffee is good, great homemade cakes, nice snacks and friendly service. A very all inclusive and accepting attitude. This does mean your relaxing chill...More

Having already have an excellent coffee earlier in the week we popped in for lunch on a bright but chilly day - the fire was blazing, the soup warming, and still views over Polzeath beach; great.

Fantastic place to go, especially with kids The food is excellent and the staff are lovely. Kids can run around , play on the skate ramp or enjoy all the toys Delicious wholesome food with lots of less wholesome but delicious cakes too!

My girlfriend has been coming to Polzeath camping with her whole family since she was a child and we have been back ourselves a few times every year. We had come to the tubestation a few times even on a Sunday morning when they were...More

Food was really very good but there is a skate board ramp in the café and it was so noisy, you had to shout to be heard. Really cool, unusual place but be prepared for some serious noise.

Thanks for your review :) Yes, it can be noisy here sometimes!

I can't really comment much on the quality of the coffee or the staff. The overriding factor that defined our visit was that some genius has decided to put a skateboard ramp inside. Whilst this may seem trivial, picture someone banging a but of wood...More

Thanks for sharing your experience. It can be noisy here. The ramp has been in place for over ten years and is a vital part of our service to the community (we are a community charity primarily, the cafe is just a part of that)....More

Definitely not mainstream but for those who appreciate it, a welcome change. As one reviewer has already stated, it is more of a drop in centre than a cafe and was not particularly to our tastes. Having said that, we had a light lunch there...More

Amazing food, amazing staff. One of the best cafés I've visited in Cornwall (if not the best!). Lovely cafe inside, nice and quirky. Would recommend for anyone seeking lovely food and service with a great beach view.

Tubestation is a registered charity and community collaboration based in Polzeath which provides multiple and valuable services to the local community in and around Polzeath, right through the year. These include a multi-use community space with ethical cafe (reviewed here and elsewhere), art gallery, church, indoor skate ramp and many other activities.

Tubestation's cafe (on which Trip Advisor reviews are based) creates simple and healthy well-sourced food and drink freshly made in an open kitchen; the purpose of which is to service and encourage an environment which brings all strands of community together (warning it can be noisy!) Uniquely the cafe welcomes people bringing their own food in, and supporting all the other businesses locally, and is often a place where people stop and stay for many hours.

Tubestation is not for profit and puts everything it makes back into the community in some way, including 10% being donated as gifts to support good causes locally and globally.
