Scran is banging, at a reasonable price. Healthy, organic, no chemicals. Our boy Dennis sorted us right out. An agriculturist, he makes his own banging olive oil and wine, goes above and beyond for his customers. Tasty authentic Greek dishes, with a side of tourist hotspot recommendations. Me and my mates ate here every day of our holiday. We ventured to another restaurant once during our stay and was severely disappointed. Once you’ve had the best, dodge the rest.

Me and my friends stayed in the area for a week during lockdown and we ate here everyday, it was that amazing.
First night we arrived on the island, we checked in to the Airbnb and were hungry. Despite it being 1am when we turned up, Dennis (Owner) went out of his way to make us welcome, comfortable and fulfilled our hunger and thirst.
Everyday was the same, if not better and we all can not recommend this place enough,
If you are in the area, I would strongly suggest visiting Kaminaki, you will not be disappointed.
Diverse and big menu for food and drink, lovely atmosphere and awesome customer service.
Plus, everything is local produce and made by Dennis!

If you’re staying nearby be sure to check out this place!
We ate here everyday during our week stay!
The few times we ventured elsewhere for food we were left disappointed and wished we’d come back here!
Dennis the owner is an absolute G and will cater to your every need.
As he’ll tell you, he’s an agriculturalist. He makes his own bread, olive oil and wine which are all delicious and budget friendly!
Couldn’t recommend more!

We are visiting Zakynthos for more than 10 years all together and every time we make sure to be in Kaminaki at least 10 times during our 2 weeks vacation.
We just love the food but the food is not the only highlight. Dionisus or how he calls himself Dennis, is simply the most charming and very customer experience oriented owner. He is at the same time acting as a waiter, who with a lot of pride and joy introduces the menu and specialties, all organic and mostly from his garden and olive trees, cooks when busy, jumps on his little scooter to get anything what is missing for the day and still, even when it is very busy, treats you like you are the most important customer and he always interacts with you with a smile.
All in all, one of the most welcoming atmospheres you can experience on the island.
Definitely something anyone should not miss when visiting Zakynthos.
We are so much looking forward to go there next year again, and again, and again....

We just bumped into this restaurant in the mountains, as we were very hungry. So we decided to have a lunch here. The food was excellent! All local products and super fresh. We took vegetables baked in the oven and grilled shrimps. All amazingly fresh and tasty. Just prepare to wait a bit as they are cooking everything on the spot. But believe it is worth it. Highly recommended!

For me it is the best taverna in Zakinthos out of 40+ I’ve visited.
I’ve enjoyed the simple and super-tasty fresh food, produced locally, home-made olive oil and wine. The staff was kind and supportive.

Denis the menace was cooking up flames on his solo grill showing the baby pig who his daddy was. Once you step foot in Kaminaki, Denis hits you with an alluring grin and refreshing wine. His pure charm and dashing good looks lure you in further and further, from his Greek salad to his Briani he’ll have you licking your lips and gagging for more.
Don’t sleep on this if you value great value food with a top notch atmosphere.

Recommended by a friend this restaurant on the side of the road in a charming village in the mountains may not have attracted me to stop but I’m glad with did. No menu… no prices… just a charming local man with a loud passionate approach to sharing his food! We had called ahead and asked for suckling pig on the bbq but he still went through the menu giving details and making suggestions. The squid, tzatziki, village sausage and grilled courgettes were delicious with fresh bread and local olive oil. The local white wine was fair and the main course pig, chips and Greek salad delicious - all for a fab price of €30
I would return just for the passionate delivery of the menu and charm of its owners

Local on a quiet street, arrived we are shown 3 dishes off the menu, we choose a dish from the menu, chicken skewers with side dish of your choice. The dish features only 1 skewer , which along with the vegetables was really skimpy . With the ordered water they also served us garlic topped bread that they thought was their dinner companion bread that usually restaurants bring with the covered , instead at the time of the bill they charged it from the menu and I found it incorrect. When we arrived at 7.30 the taverna was empty on a sat night! Dennis gave us his undivided attention and recited the entire menu back to front and inside out. He showed us the suckling pig cooking away on the outdoor grill and was as attentive as can be. By 8, the place was full! We ate like kings and queens and sampled the village bread and wine. Everything is organic and fresh and where possible is not just made in volimes but grown in volimes too! Honestly, this is a rare find. As are characters like Dennis ☺️

a beautiful place, a real family trattoria. the owner is a farmer who in winter follows the fields and the beasts. they serve only local products, the prices are honest and incredibly lower than the island average, the surroundings are countryside and woods. come, get told all the dishes and absolutely try BRIAMI (baked vegetables with feta) but also meat (he roasts it in the rotisserie in a room in the courtyard) or even spaghetti with chicken sauce. good, with honest prices and really nice, a restaurant to return

Genius guy! We enjoyed lunch including a show. Upon arrival you will receive a friendly welcome and the menu will be shouted enthusiastically and clearly throughout the restaurant. The more guests come, the louder the best man will shout. Guests who run outside bursting with laughter because they are laughing so hard Hahaha! Is something cooking in the kitchen? No problem, he jumps on his red moped and races to the other side of the village to pick it up. Not expensive and good food, definitely worth it!

The place is in the countryside and very quiet.

It's a great experience. The food is always good, Greek cuisine. The owner of the restaurant always takes time to prepare and cooks a delicious meal. We recommend Greek wine, such as retsina. The owner of the restaurant sells high quality organic olive oil, so pure that it can also be used as cosmetics. Pleasant atmosphere, nice place, no hard hiking. If you are looking for authenticity, you must visit Kaminaki.
