Great place with great food and staff. We arrived in Salento ay 8:30pm after a long and very delayed bus journey and was recommended this restaurant by our hotel. And thank goodness they did!
The place is very nice inside - colourful, rustic and cosy vibes. We didn’t experience the atmosphere of the place as we arrived very late when they were meant to be closed/closing but they kindly still made us food! Which speaks to the friendly staff.
The food was delicious. We shared a trout in a creamy, garlic, mushroom sauce with a giant patacone on the side and a large salad. All had great flavours and the trout was particularly tasty - very fresh!
Highly recommend as a great little restaurant in Salento. Also very reasonable.

Nice place, some chairs made from old colored tyres. The cuisine is not bad, delicious vegetable cream, regenerating after a week of fried foods. I tried the patacón, a sort of flattened bread covered with vegetables and cheese, good. Exceptional value for money.

A wonderful place in Salento, with a beautiful garden which makes you feel connected to nature.
The food was amazing. I have tried Acaime Patacon, which was a huge patacon with different kinds of cheese, vege, meat. Taste so good and huge portion!!!
My friend tried trout in creamy sauce, which was also outstanding. The sauce was excellent, as normally Colombian cuisine doesn’t have that much juicy sauce. The fish was so fresh!!
Honestly, most restaurants in Salento offer similar menu, but Acaime is just outstanding!! It’s around 10 minutes walk from town but it’s a good escape from the touristic town:)) Definitely recommended!!!

Juan is a great person, we spent a great time on the horses through the jungle to the waterfall. One of our highlights during our holidays in Colombia. On top, we had lunch in the restaurant afternoon the horse riding, very good. Thanks Juan and team ! Best regards, Toppi y Vera

Stopped by for a coffeeshop the other night and liked it so much that we went back the day after for dinner. Welcomed by the staff who knew us from the night before. Food was good, setting is nice and fair prices. Check out the small treehouse!

What a nice place!!!
The food is delicious, the people super nice and the decoration great! Before the delicious dinner, we enjoyed a drink called "Canelazo" in the tree house and absolutely loved the experience. Highly recommended!

The place is a bit artsy, you're sitting on tires with a lot of green. However, the 5 stars on tripadvisor did not meet our expectations. The staff was nice.

The food was average for Salento however the service was awful, maybe a member of staff was missing or something but the server ignored us, after half an hour we had to ask for our drinks order to be taken despite them having seated us and knew we were there. It was hard to have any further drinks order taken - we'd have spent twice as much money if they could have been bothered to ask.

Very nice place for dinner in Salento. A bit off the main roads but worth the short walk as we had great service and the food was very nice. We were a group of 9 people and they have good vegetarian options as well.

My girlfriend and I both ordered the Bandeja Paisa as we wanted to try local Colombian cuisine, and we really enjoyed our meals. They were very tasty and for (I think) 19,000 Colombian peso each you leave the restaurant with a full tummy.
The staff are ever so friendly here and we felt really welcome.
The location of the restaurant is about less than a ten minute walk from the main town of Salento which is handy.
Overall would absolutely recommend an evening meal here when in Salento.

Our meal at Acaime was superb in many ways. The food itself was delicious and the service way beyond expectations. The colourful decor with the unique tire seating was both innovative and comfortable. If you are visiting Salento you will thoroughly enjoy a meal at Acaime.
