Good food, good service, good atmosphere, good price. I'm quite surprised such a good restaurant in such a small town. The chef is exceptionally friendly. Although the food is made in a delicate way, the portion is not small. Will definitely go back and recommend to everyone.

This was our first visit to this wonderful establishment, but we were welcomed like old friends by Romano and Carlo. We followed chefs advice with the food and he went on to prepare 3 different pasta dishes followed by a duck secondi, and an amazing array of desserts. A word of warning, the portions are huge, do not touch the... More

i know Romano and Carlo since more then 20 years and this very high cuisine didn't lost anything of quality and service, excellent food, excellent service, every dish is fresh and seasonal, it's expensive but also very very good. You can see directly in the kitchen and see the staff cooking, excellent. It's an adventure, fantastic, but take your time

The decore, atmosphere and service is fantastic but the Food does not match the price. We payed just over 200 euros for starters and main course and a bottle wine. We payed 60 euros for similar Ford the dag before.

This restaurant has been around for several decades and is an institution within the Mantuan fine dining scene. As soon as we'd parked the car outside the restaurant we were greeted by the restaurant manager (one of the two Tamani brothers who own the place) and escorted downstairs to the dining area. The restaurant's interior is striking and very "rich"... More

This ristorante was near our hotel so a group of us decided to dine here. It is a very small restaurant mostly filled with locals. The food was moderate but the service and wine selection (although pricey) was outstanding.

Incredible home-made food. Hospitality is made to feel at ease. From the hosts: Carlo and Romano to the chefs, from the waiters to the environment. Food is impeccable of high quality and a service to die for. Plus the environment is unique.

The restaurant L'Ambasciata has a grate history and nowadays continues to propose traditional dishes in a deeply changed market. An excellent restaurant with an old conception of kitchen. Anyway its cellar is fully stocked and it's possible to try rare wines.

As highly experienced Michelin restaurant travellers, this has to rate as the worst. The clue should have been no menus; no prices and only a total of four covers including ourselves. The bill for a mediocre meal, was an eye watering EUR 339 including an average bottle of wine. This was a stitch up from start to finish. EUR 25... More
