I visited The Pig and Pallet for lunch a couple of weeks ago and can safely say it was one of the best bbq shack style meals that i've ever had. Our meals were served on an actual tray stacked with food, I went for...More

Absolutely fantastic place. They pride themselves on high animal welfare, quality and taste. Really cool place as well and really friendly service. One of the best places we've been to in ages. There are sadly plenty of places which could learn a fair few things...More

This is a really down to earth place. Good local sourced beers and a cider as well. Service fab, but the start of the show was the food. Well prepared, carefully considered burgers of different sorts. Some vegi options if you were that way inclined....More

Absolutely fantastic food, attentive service, great surroundings and, I personally believe, reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The Mac n Cheese was my personal favourite, it's the best I have ever eaten. I will definitely visit again.More

Description
Relaxed and informal. Some communal dining and some smaller tables. We are a butcher using classic methods from British and European sales to produce our own cured meats. We also take influences from American BBQ to produce well cooked smoked meats. We make everything possible ourselves. We make Pastrami for the Reubens, Franks for the dogs. We are very pleased with our award winning burgers. Be sure to ask what the secret is to a great burger (by the way there is no secret just use great dry aged Devon beef with salt and pepper).
