Great for a fun day outside on a nice day. This little cafe is styled in old time themed decor and sits right on the andreas fault line. Said to be the earth quake capital of the world. Good choice in food selection for cafe...More

Parkfield is tiny....the population is listed as 18. This ranch is a pleasant surprise! Met John & Barbara, and the puppy...all of them were very friendly! Cafe was closed, but got treated to some hot coffee & cookies!

(This review is for the Cafe only.) The V6 Ranch, and Parkfield Cafe, had been on my radar after reading about them in Sunset Magazine. So last week while on a road trip from Northern California to Santa Barbara for a family wedding I decided...More

Dropped in on the off chance as "passing through". Great fun. Cheerful. Good looked brill but so busy with local Harley Davidson groups did not bother. Mistake as fifty miles to next food stop!

And it's the only restaurant in Parkfield. Initially it looked like we were going to have a great experience. We received our drinks right away, and we placed our order shortly after that. Most of the patrons seemed to be ranchers, and the atmosphere was...More

Our family arrived late during a rare rain storm on the darkest of nights. Actually it was after closing time. We had been in contact with the owners during our wild goose chase, GPS isn't what it aught to be. We left the High Sierra's...More

I can't say this was one of the best burger I've ever had but probably 'the best burger' I've ever had.

Well worth a stop for the delicious grass fed beef. We only went to Parkfield to check out the "earthquake capital of the world" and didn't really expect a cafe to be open, especially on a Sunday, so it was a pleasant surprise. I had...More

Closed a little early in the evening but the burgers are the best in California. On a lunch time we ate a portion of the park field fries with a grill chicken and chipotle sandwich, the portions are generous enough to share and pack in...More

Parkfield Café is situated in the little town of Parkfield, population 18. Parkfield is known as the Earthquake Capital of The World as the amount of study done here on earthquakes surpasses that of anywhere in the world. Parkfield is also known as the Cowboy Side of California and 3 rodeos occur here each year ranging from junior to professional. Parkfield Café is a wonderful place to stop and have lunch on your visit to Parkfield or on a drive through the beautiful surrounding countryside. The café serves American food, the hamburgers and steak being what we are most proud of. All our beef used is grass-fed beef from our ranch, the V6 Ranch, which is only 5 miles down the road. You won't find a burger this delicious anywhere else! The interior is also influenced by the V6 Ranch and we have brands hanging from the ceiling, if they shake we know it's a quake!! The café is very family friendly with a kids menu and a tree house outside where kids can play.
