Had a lovely lunch here 7 years ago returned today to a lovely welcome by the waitress. Good food the Antipasto was amazing so much for 3. One had Tagliatelle with Cinghiale Ragu very nice but unable to finish such a large helping. Two of...us had lamb, a very silly choice, but it was quite nice for Italy. There is so much good food in Italy but lamb is not done well any where in Italy, as Australians we were homesick after 6 weeks for lamb. Love this place, highly recommend very atmospheric in the cave of old oil mill with an internal waterfall under the glass stepsMore

We were staying in a villa nearby and wanted a dinner outing for pizza. So glad we found this place. Delicious wood-fired pizza at a reasonable price in a unique setting. Highly recommend.

Off the beaten track in the village of Lubriano, a restaurant with great character and super food. The restaurant is located in a cave network that was once an olive oil manufacturing plant, where the owners are happy to give you a tour. Oh, the...food, the house antipasto is a great starter for two, pasta courses are freshly made and the meat secondo's are cooked well. The portions are great, the pricing is very reasonable and the staff very helpful. Try the wild boar pasta or the lamb dishes. You can park in the town piazza above and walk down or drive down to the restaurant car park. il Frantoio Di Lubriano is now on my top 10 list of local restaurants!More

We live locally to the restaurant and we used to eat there regularly a few years ago. We stopped last year when they had different people running the place. However the old team is now back and the food is awesome! Generous portions and reasonable...price. The restaurant is situated in an old olive press site and is really quirky and unusual. We will go back soon GiuliaMore

We wanted lunch on a Wednesday, this was our first mistake, everywhere is closed, except this hard to find amazing restaurant. It is built into a cave in an old olive press mill. Take a few minutes to explore all the tunnels, passages and stairs...to discover the extent of this great restaurant. The staff were faultless, the food interesting and value for money. Even if it's not Wednesday, give this place a try.More

Stumbled upon this place at lunchtime with friends on way to visit Bagnoregio. We thought, what a great find. Host was gracious and took us on a tour of the property/cave. Very interesting. After being seated, our first course of appetizers arrived quickly, and were...extremely tasty. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for the second course. Others around us who arrived afterwards were being served, but nothing for us. Finally, after 30 minutes, three of our group of seven were served their main course. Ten minutes later, three more were served, Finally, after another 15 minutes passed, the final member was served. To add insult to injury, the food was poorly prepared -- pasta under-cooked (and i don't mean al dente) and unsalted; other dishes over-salted, and some dishes described as being in a cream sauce had no cream sauce. When this was pointed out to the waiter, he brought a very small bowl of salsa for each of the plates. After four trips to Italy over the past four years, I can honestly say that this was the worst meal, and the worst service of any place in Tuscany and Umbria we've ever been. Even the vino was overpriced. We had an identical wine that evening in a one-star Michelin restaurant in Orvieto for 2 Euro less. Save your Euro and avoid this tourist trap.More

Beautiful old building that was once used to press and store olive oil. So historic and wonderfully decorated. The service was great as was the food. And reasonably priced. We enjoyed the gnocchi with truffles and the homemade pasta with tomato and cheese. Excellent! Their...antipasto before the meal should not be missed. A great selection of different items. One is enough to share with four. The restaurant is down a side road but worth hunting for. Afterwards take time to stroll about the town. Very quaint! A great view across the valley of Bagnoregio. Enjoy!More
