This restraunt is ok. There are few restraunts around here,so they have had the market on the locals. But, things are changing, more choices becoming available. My feeling is they treat their customers poorly. Today Father's Day they have their customers outside in the parking lot,...really?! Other restaurants open. Goodbye El Charro I'll take my money else where.More

This is a low budget mom and pop Mexican restaurant. Food is good, prices are good, and portions are generous. Come here if you're hungry.

This is a fantastic place to go for good mexican food. It is a little out of the way and located in an older strip shopping center, but worth the trip. Everything we ordered was great and the portions are large. Almost everyone in our...group took food home. Our waiter was on top of things and the other wait staff pitches in also. Looking forward to visiting family in the area again so we can go to this restaurant.More

Came here for the first time. Quickly seated, menus given. Drinks ordered. Attentive waitress, great menu selections. Ordered and a short time latter the food arrived, Chile was great, taco was huge and enough food to take home for dinner. They serve breakfast also. We...will be backMore

We split the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo for lunch. The dish had a wonderful citrus addition to the not overpowering garlic sauce. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. We had a very nice waiter that explained the dishes before we ordered. There are not a...lot of choices for restaurants in Cherry Valley, this was a pleasant surprise as we passed through.More

Very friendly staff, tasty and authentic food. Manny was our server who chatted with us and made us feel special. Don’t forget to try their salsa. I had Chicken Fajitas and my colleague had a borrito bowl and we loved the food and their service....I highly recommend this place.More

When you get to the restaurant, don't let he Store Front or the Parking Lot stop you, just walk in and order and eat some of the best authentic Mexican food to be eaten this side of the Southern Border of the United States. This...restaurant, which looks small from outside, is not small and was packed with people the day I decided to try it. My guess is if this place looked any better from the outside, they wouldn't be able to handle all the folks trying to get in. Inside, they've done nothing fancy other than to offer comfortable booths and a paint the walls to give reasonable impression of a Mexican Restaurant of 100 years ago. But the food …. the food is wonderful. The menu is nothing special. uyou find the usual combinations, burritos, and "especials", but their recipes are authentic and exceptionally tasty. Even thinking about it a day latter, I want to go back and experience that meal again. Service was exceptional. There was plenty of wait help, and if you needed something, they were quick to get what you wanted and with a smile, a very pretty one in the case of the young women that served me. So if yiou are within a reasonable distance of Cherry Valley, Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Yucaipa, Redlands, or even Moreno Valley, you should try this restaurant. And you'll be back ... soon.More

It's always a pleasure to be able to write a good review, and this place deserves one. The interior was spotlessly clean. We were seated in an adjoining room with booths when we asked for somewhere quiet. Chips and salsa (a little on the hot...side for us) appeared immediately, service was excellent, and prices were reasonable. We ordered a chili relleno, a carnitas taco, and an enchilada combination. All were great. We especially liked the carnitas - perfectly spiced and tender - and the enchilada sauce was the best. They serve breakfast all day, too. That's going to be our next visit and we will definitely be regulars here from now on.More

My parents live in a retirement village in Beaumont and this is the restaurant we frequent every time we visit from Chicago. Don’t let the “hole in the wall” storefront fool you. Great place! They are very efficient with seating (there is no waiting area)...and the chips and salsa are very good (the thin crispy kind!). The menu is large and has creative options as well as old standbys like enchiladas, beans and rice. The place is clean and the waitress would ask us if things were “still wonderful?” each time she came by. My elderly parents love the place and we look forward to our “fix” of authentic Mexican food each time we visit!More
