This has been our favorite Sushi Restaurant for a long time. We had not eaten here in several months and this time we learned that there was a change in ownership. The service was slow and the sushi was not as good as it was...in the past. Maybe we stopped on a bad night. Will give it one more try.More

City Grill has such fresh, unique rolls. The Jessica roll is so refreshing and like nothing you will have anywhere else. The dynamite lobster, love me tender, and green dragon rolls are delicious as well. If you are not in the mood for sushi the...Pho is delicious too.More

The sushi is so fresh and good. I like the Alaskan roll. My son loves the Tiger roll. The employees are very helpful , kind and appreciative of your business.

It's sort of an odd location, a small strip mall in sort of a suburban setting, but we found the attractive interior clean with comfy booths, the service polite and efficient, and the food very well prepared. Their servings were a little larger than other...sushi restaurants. We had a "Love me tender" and a Dynamite roll - both were excellent. There are several other items we want to try during future visits. We'll definitely be back.More

My family loves Sushi. Some of us travel a lot for work and have eaten sushi at recommended restaurants all over, most recently in Hawaii at a highly touted place. It was beautifully decorated, service was good the food was over priced and over rated....I say this so you get the comparison. There is none. City Sushi is by far the best . The help is great but the food is exceptional, fresh, creative and delicious. For Sushi lovers...try it you won't be disappointed.More

Excellent food, service, price. Lots of great beers and sake to chose from. The menu is amazing with so many choices. The sushi and sashimi fresh. Specials prices in rolls some nights of the week. We will definitely return.

We were delighted to find delicious sushi and other Japanese dishes available in Cherry Valley! City Sushi & Grill Restaurant is an unexpected little treasure which is probably only known to locals, since it's in small strip mall immediately north of the Grange, on the...way to Oak Glen. We sampled several types of sushi as well as the chicken teriyaki bento, and green-tea mochi ice cream, all accompanied by tasty miso soup and green tea. The decor, service, and real sushi chefs made City Sushi & Grill Restaurant a really pleasant place to dine and relax.More

Took a friend to city grill for lunch. She was wanting sushi. So I hunted out areas in cherry valley that would have something. This brought me to the city grill. The photos on the Internet was kinda misleading, and I thought I had arrived...at a take out joint. But when I Went inside, I was pleased to find a nice restaurant. I had brought a birthday cake and cleared with manager that I could bring it in. All was good..then my friend arrived and we sat down. I am not sure what happens but service went downhill fast. When taking my order for a simple califonia roll and she had a bento box lunch, we were ignored, had to wait while our server the owner manager chatted with people and then came back to us and cut off off in mid order. Totally rude. The sushi was a bit warm, had to ask for wasabi and ginger... The food tasted ok, but I don't see me going back again..More
