O.K. so there is ALWAYS a line. The ice cream is really GOOD! You really ONLY need a Kid's size - really-really-reallllllly. They pile it on! We opted for a banana split and that is a NORMAL but very good size. Go with patience, period. This is a vacation spot so act like you are on vacation cuz those kids... More

The ice cream is a meal. It is great but watch out for the scoop sizes. They are over the top for sure.

There's always a wait, but it's worth it. The ice cream is delicious, and for what you get, size wise, a fairly inexpensive treat. I always get the Kiddie cone and it is a large scoop. My husband got the Double scoop and for both cones our total was $8. They do serve other ice cream treats such as shakes... More

Drove past on the way to our hotel and circled back later because of the line we had seen outside the door...discovered the reason...a child's serving in a waffle cone (you can pick two flavored for inclusion) is larger than most double scoops, and some triple scoops I've seen! And it's good ice cream.

They have a lot of choices including shakes, floats, sundaes, and lots of flavors. The girls in the shop were very pleasant and fast.!! A definite must go if your in the area.

This place was amazing, what a magnet, can see why once we'd tasted the beautiful ice creams, great flavours, absolutely huge portions and shaded seating outside. Really enjoyed this pit stop on our bike ride, made us late getting the bikes back but they allow for that at the bike rental place!!!! A MUST DO when in the area but... More

The ice cream portions are huge, the ice cream is the perfect temperature, the flavors were delicious and the line moves fast. Stopped here on the bike trail and the ice cream ended up being lunch cause the portion was so big....and we just got the 'single'. Great vacation memory!

I heard about the ice cream here so really wanted to go. We didn't let the long line scare us away. It moved fast and was really worth the wait. We each got waffle cones and the single was huge! Really good. Friendly kids working there too. We ate at a table outside in the shade. I think we need... More

This is the best ice cream around! We had a family reunion in Tahoe and we had to go get ice cream 4 out of the 5 nights we were there! This was one of our highlights

My wife and I were on our honeymoon we were driving through when she spotted the line...the line spoke volumes and this place is really good, tourist pricing but they are totally worth it...the college age students make it very enjoyable and they have infectious smiles and attitudes....here is an idea, they actually had a college fund container, I spent... The "Camp Richardson complex" includes a general store a coffee house and an ice cream store. The Ice cream store is a local favorite for good reason. We waited in line at least 20 minutes and every time we drove by during our trip there was always a long line. Very good ice cream.
